Don't listen to whatever they say about this place. You just have to go and find out for yourself. If you heard it was bad, expect it to be good. If you heard it was good, expected it to be bad. Whatever happens, your expectations will be exceeded.

This is a dive bar and they make no apologies for it. It’s a true locals’ spot. It is loud on the weekends and quiet off and on throughout the week. If you want cheap drinks, this is where you go.
Five stars for being exactly what it is.

THEY LET MEN ENTER/USE THE WOMENS BATHROOM which should never ever be allowed this is a unsafe environment for females and the staff has no care about this problem and the bartenders will only serve who they want and you will most likely wait 20 or more minutes to get a drink

Was literally standing outside the door waiting too see how long it took for anyone to come right back out...I wound up taking a leap of faith and sitting with these people. I hardly stopped laughing (or sippin) after i sat down. I hope everyone can experience this genuine atmosphere.

I was having a great day and went here on 04/10 with my colleagues (both US law enforcement) and showed my very real ID I use at the airport to fly on a plane.

The blonde bartender with glasses said this ID wasn’t valid and couldn't explain why. Mind you, this is a Puerto Rico ID and I am a US Citizen. Puerto Rico IDs are valid US IDs.

Clearly, there’s some racism or xenophobia issues at this establishment either on the employee’s part or the managerial staff.

We left and got better service at J Brian's Tap Room ❤️

This establishment needs a little history lesson on US citizenship and valid forms of ID.

Puerto Rico is part of the United States. Puerto Ricans are US citizens. Their IDs (and money, which is US Dollars by the way, not pesos, just in case) are just as valid as yours!

This is a fun bar but the Manager and Bartender Genie needs to be fired! There was only a handful of people at the bar and she ignored me for over 20 minutes! I watched her serve multiple people and even a few people got served twice. When I tried to get her attention she looked at me and rolled her eyes to continue helping others. During this time someone had heat flash and the security guard Gary gave water to the girl because she was about to faint. Genie got mad and snatched the water from him but he got it back and gave it to the young girl. After still not being served and watching her be rude to several more customers I went downstairs to get my drink there. This horrible unprofessional “Manager” creates a hostile, and uncomfortable environment for everyone. The only she needs to work on managing is her attitude, I’ve met toddlers with a better temperament. While everyone else is nice enough and the security goes above and beyond one bad apple will ruin it for everyone. I’d suggest she be removed or go to jays for customer service training..

Dude, this place needs to be shut down. I literally almost threw up because I ordered food here, started eating it, and a roach crawled along the bar. Bar was sticky, and the bartenders only really are interested in the regulars and friends, or people their to get drunk. It was disappointing cause the vibe seemed fine until getting ignored and saw how this place needs attention. Please don't go there if you like your health and good service

Decent dive

So I’ve been to this establishment multiple times and the only problem I have is with service. The first two floors are okay but when you go to the third floor service absolutely sucks. The bartender GENIE who is also a manager has a favorites list. I’ve had to wait extremely long for a drink and even seen others come back for another drink and this supposid general manager serves those who are favorites….I guess whoever gives more tips gets service first. I recommend to go to another bar me personally I’d rather just give my money to the homeless before coming back there….you would think after multiple bad reviews in same problem GENIE wouldn’t be allowed to serve up there on third floor. But that’s why it’s only a place environment for college kids…
