Good burgers, good shakes, and good service. We were seated quickly even though there restaurant was pretty busy. Out food came out quickly and tasted great. Is recommended The Chocolate Reese's Peanutbutter Cup shake with cookie dough mix in! Also way better value and quickly than Shake Shack!

Used to have great food at a location in Kentucky, so thought this one would be similar. Unfortunately, no such luck. Our actual waitress was friendly, but the hostess was very unfriendly and did obviously not want to be there. Food was pretty terrible--chicken strips on salad and the fries tasted like they'd been fried in old oil. Patty melt was soggy with very plastic-y cheese. Would not return. It was crowded, so I'll give them that, but they still could have done way better.

Excellent place great customer service great food. I wish there fries were thicker they have the string fries but you can get them hot too. Will definitely be coming back. It's a hidden gem!

This place was a big let down. I had my very first Steak and Shake burger and fries at a different location two days ago and it was the best burger I'd ever eaten. The fries were incredible too with their Cajun seasoning! It's hard for me to find a burger that I really love so at this location I ordered the exact same thing I'd gotten at the other location (Wisconsin butter burger) it was so over cooked that even with the added butter it was dried out. They completely left out the Cajun seasoning AND the fries were cold and OLD. My husband asked them to hold the onions from his burger and there were THREE SLICES on it! They didn't even get my drink right! I asked for root beer and got Coke! Very sloppy job done at this location! It was around 11pm we were tired and hungry so I called to talk to the manager. I called THREE TIMES before they decided not to pick up and hang up without even a greeting and then I held so long after asking for the manager that I finally hung up. I'll be calling back today!

Best service I've ever had at a Steak 'n Shake. Most of them I go to have really poor service (waiter only visits us a few times, extremely long waits for food and service, and it's almost impossible to get a refill), but the food is still amazing. We stopped at this one on the way back from Fairfax and it was, by far, the best service I've had at any of their locations. The waitress was super friendly and kept my drink filled without requesting it (just water). Food came out relatively quick and tasted great like always. This will probably become a common stop when we're in the area. Hopefully it wasn't a fluke.
