Very disappointing coffee experience!
I was excited to visit this small cafe after reading the reviews and seeing the pictures. I arrived at 9am on a Sunday, even though the hours say open at 8am on Sunday. That’s not a big deal.
I ordered a large Americano with 2 extra shots of espresso while waiting for my shawarma. The Americano tasted like regular coffee so I asked for an additional two shots of espresso. While speaking to the lady at the counter she shows me a container of pre ground coffee that she says is espresso. Not one time during my visit did I hear the espresso machine grind any beans!!!
My EIGHT SHOT Americano still tasted like a cup of Folgers coffee. I ended up having to go through the Dunkin’ drive through for a quad espresso to try and improve my original beverage.
This cafe has such potential!!! It is welcoming and quaint in its decor and the lady was very nice. The shawarma was delicious but I would not go back there because of my coffee experience.

We went for the first time a couple of weeks ago and the bakery items were good but the coffee tasted like water. So today we tried it again and it was worst than last time. We had pieces of rubber bands in our drinks. We will not be going back.

It was my first time visiting here, and my friend and I were unfamiliar with Bahraini cuisine. Suad was very welcoming and patient with us as we asked many questions about the food, the coffee, and the spices! Everything was delicious, and we'll definitely be going back soon, especially for the saffron cake!
Not sure if this place is permanently closed or what, but walked here on a Friday morning to grab some coffee and they weren’t open.

Suad is the warmest, most caring, and the most involved individual in our community that I have met in a long time. The drinks and the food she prepares from scratch are phenomenal. Everyone should try this place and trust me, you will be hooked just like I am. I love this place and we need Suad ro be able to keep her business going for a very long time.
Enjoyed the sandwich, coffee, and conversation (with Suad). I had a butter toffee latte, a turkey pesto sandwich and a croissant cookie. This is one of those quaint little cafes where you take a bite (or a sip) of something Suad makes and you can't help but exclaim, "OH, that's really good!"
