SUPER cute art, really suits the place. Fun vibe. The lady that was helping us pick out our doughnuts was very friendly and sweet :)

⭐ **One Star Review**

I’m giving this place one star. I drove 30 minutes hoping to try something new, but I was immediately disappointed by the service. The woman at the counter was rude from the start—she didn’t greet me or my 9-year-old son like she did with the other customers. When I asked questions, she either ignored me or responded like I was bothering her.

At first, I thought maybe it was just me—but then she forgot to include one of the donuts I ordered. When I came back up to request the missing item (plus another one), her attitude got worse. She tossed the donuts across the counter to the guy at the register instead of simply handing them over, and didn’t even bother to bag them together. She did this both times, which made it clear it wasn’t an accident.

As someone in the military, I’m used to observing my surroundings, and her attitude was off-putting—rude, dismissive, and frankly, it felt borderline racist. I’m not saying she is, but it was noticeable that the other customers before me were greeted warmly and treated with more respect. The donut prices are high and not worth the product or the rudeness from their staff.

I left feeling very unwelcome. Freddy’s Donuts won’t have to worry about me returning. I’ll stick with **Texas Donuts**—they’re far better in price, quality, and customer service. Their staff is kind and welcoming, and their donuts, cinnamon rolls, twists, and jalapeño cheese kolaches are fresh, fluffy, and delicious.

As for Freddy’s donuts: they were overly thick, not soft or fluffy. The icing was way too sweet and heavy. The cinnamon roll felt like it had been sitting out a while, even if it was technically fresh. The cronut had good flakiness but was ruined by the taste of glaze and overwhelming taste of frying grease—it lingered in the back of my throat no matter what I drank or ate after.

Bottom line: **Texas Donuts still holds the crown**, and Freddy’s just doesn’t come close.

My dad has a couple of lawn contracts around the corner that I routinely help him work on. & after smelling yummy donuts in the air, I decided to stop and buy a dozen donuts for myself, the children, & grandkids. The selection was amazing in the size of the donuts was large but very accepting of the sweet challenge 😆. My oldest grandson loves everything sprinkles, so I couldn't wait for him to take a bite. The video says it all along with the music. Just watch wait for him to take that first bite and look at his reaction. (Maybe it was the sugar rush. Or it just tasted that damn good. Who knew Teddy and Freddy's Donuts go together 🤣. Congratulations guys you made new fans and repeat customers with me and the fam.

I’ve had plenty of vegan donuts and these are the best. They’re actually fried, fluffy, and yeasty like a regular donut and they have a ton of different varieties (only a few have animal products…about 90% of the options are vegan).

Get there early… when they sell out it’s time to close. We arrived at 9:45am and there was only a few left… lesson learned! Coffee is excellent.

This charming, one-of-a-kind donut shop in Fredericksburg is a must-visit! Both the town and this amazing spot offer a unique experience. Even though I’m not typically a donut person, their donuts are absolutely delicious. And don’t forget to grab some for your local law enforcement — they’ll appreciate it!"

Amazing donuts. Good variety. Best around, can't be compared to Paul's or Krispy Kreme, each have there own specialty.
