Food is edible despite shop appearance. However the flavor profile is very bland and uninspiring. Pork ribs are very tough. Brisket was bland. I think the quality would be better in the frozen department at the local Kroger. The best part of the whole was probably the Pepsi product fountain.
The pulled pork is moist. Lots of bbq sauces to choose from. The coleslaw was only cabbage with a watery dressing. Even though the pork was moist, it's not going to be a top bbq place on my list.

Very disappointed about management attitude when you call trying to explain and she gets nasty and hangs up on you. 1st and last time ordering here.

The worker opening the door was so rude never made it in side. It is sad as I was looking forward to the bbq but was not going to give my money to someone so rude. If I want that type of treatment I would have gone to a theme restaurant specializing in that type of atmosphere. However Billikens saved the day with great service and food.
Had delivery of ribs and brisket. I totally love to support local places. Maybe it's the day I don't know. Both were dry. The ribs lacked flavor on their own. The sauces, especially mustard, were good. I just don't know what it takes to get good brisket around here. Sorry - I don't mean to be overly critical, but good food is worth any price - this just was disappointing. I hope it was the exception - not the rule.

This is a MUST eat restaurant. It kind of looks like a hole in the wall joint and the food does not disappoint. I ordered the brisket plate with collard greens and fried okra for $15.99 and could only eat half of it. These are the best collard greens I've ever eaten. It took 5 forkfuls of 'oh my god' mouthwatering greens before I could pause long enough to eat the brisket. The brisket was tender, juicy, and exactly right. This place makes me happy to have moved here. Absolutely will return.

Wow is the only word I have. Gave this place another try and again another disappointment and waste of money. For a BBQ restaurant you would think the meat would be smoked with pride but both the chicken and the ribs were cooked to death. Chicken was ok, yet dry and did not look appetizing, it was edible. The ribs on the other hand tasted awful! Incredible dry, tuff and the taste of the meat almost tasted spoiled. I might as well have thrown 40 bucks in the trash. I’m appalled there are good reviews for this place!

First time at The Pig Pit. Food was fabulous. We shared the BBQ Pork Plate, green beans and homemade redskin potato salad. Peach Cobbler for dessert. Amy our server was attentive and welcoming and also had made the potato salad. We will be back for more of the pork BBQ.

Haven’t tried the actual food yet. Stopped in because I heard they make fresh and seasoned pork rinds. Very awesome and will be going back because it looked amazing.

So my husband and I popped in for lunch today and were immediately greeted by the two sweetest ladies you could imagine who got us seated and got our order taken right away. We started with an order of hush puppies that I swear were perfect little salty nuggets of happiness, then my husband got the brisket sandwich and I got the big hog sandwich they were both incredibly delicious the sides were wonderful the peach cobbler put me into food coma and now we are driving away very happy stuffed people. We will definitely be back maybe later on this week hahaha.

Very delicious, but the portions are kind small, and in a building without A/C, charges for water
