Tropical Smoothie Cafe

This happened 5-20-25. I had went for a remake on a smoothie bc they were out of the blue dye for the Obama breeze. The lady agreed to remake the smoothie that was from another store bc they were out of the product needed. She had another girl make the smoothie while a guy handed it to me with a smirk on his face slightly laughing (I didn’t think anything of it, smoothie was for my daughter bc she was the one disappointed about the smoothie not being blue as advertised. The smoothie still was not blue more like and deep sea green. I took it home to surprise her that they remade the smoothie so she would like it …. They had purposefully added a bunch of protein powder or something to make it taste like spinach throw up. She hated it, had me try it and even let her brother try it (who likes everything usually) it was horrible. I was happy leaving thinking they made everything better but in all reality finding out what truly happened and my daughter again disappointed that her drink wasn’t made right and tasted awful. Do not buy from this store. It was intentional and not professional at all.

I'm not sure how to spell the names but the ladies working today are phenomenal. Everything was super tasty and fresh. Amari was one lady but they were both great. Thank you again!

Typically, I don’t write reviews, but I have to. I ordered tropical smoothie from this location on 03/03/25. I always get the same thing chicken pesto and no tomatoes with sunrise sunset. There was literally no chicken on my food. Maybe 3-4 little pieces of chicken max and the smoothie was watered down. I decided to give them another shot tonight. I got tomatoes on my chicken pesto when said no tomatoes and I got literally NO chicken again! Again with the 3-4 little pieces of chicken. The sunrise smooth was pretty good this time unlike the last one I ordered. I don’t think I’ll be ordering from this location anymore.

Rude customer service. My friend and I went in tonight, and the two girls at the front were very disrespectful; looking at us up and down, whispering to each other, and typing things on their phones and laughing together. Very impolite, unwelcoming, and so unprofessional.

This is the second time I come to this tropical smoothie and I have wasted my money on disgusting smoothies…. My smoothie is watered down. Do better..

Writing this after 5 visits. If you tip they actually make your smoothie how it’s supposed to be. If you don’t tip.. you get a very watered down smoothie that tastes like water. Didn’t want to say anything until after I’ve been a few times. Kinda hard to give someone a tip when you haven’t had the product yet. Whoever is running that places needs to get their ladies in check. They do bad work on purpose when there’s no tip is my experience. Place sucks and their entitlement is hilarious.

I frequently go here, but as of today 8/1/24; I will no longer! My orders are NEVER consistent. I spent $20 on what ended up mostly on the trash! DO BETTER!

I recommend you going to the location in Central Park; they are much better!

How are you going to forget to order cups and lids..I order a smoothie get there and it's in a Styrofoam cup with plastic cling wrap over the top and some cheap straws..if you run a franchise you should use their products. Not sure I will go back because not sure where else they may be cutting corners on not meeting franchise standards.

Go in to order. Twice now ive had problems. My order originally wouldnt go through and now i placed an order at Carter West and SOMEHOW when i checked out, the order was sent to Southpoint Parkway. A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT LOCATION, when i was finalizing the checkout it said Carter West and only after i paid did it change to Southpoint Parkway. Ridiculous, fix your system, train your employees to read (they "accidentally" forget my extra chicken on every order) and stop watering down my smoothies. Do better.

terrible, me and my daughter tried to go to there at 8:20 and it says the store doesn’t close till 9:00 they closed 40 minutes earlier. I’m upset.

Almost choked on a piece of wax paper that an employee forgot to remove from the turkey before cooking it. Unacceptable!! I’ve attempted to contact the store but still no response.
