A throwback to a wonderful time of quaint diners. The food was wonderful with incredible flavor and generous portions. The service was excellent and very attentive. If you're in the area, you should definitely stop and have a wonderful meal.

Not only was the service slow and impersonal, the wait was abysmal and the food was mediocre.On top of that the heartless, rude, and condescending couple running the restaurant insisted the “known drug addict” move from in front of the restaurant.Their attitude was apathetic at best declaring that he was an inconvenience.No compassion. No humanity. You can tell the owners have forgotten that everyone needs help sometimes.The owners could tell me he was a known drug addict but does she know if he was a homeless veteran? Why is he a drug addict? Does he struggle with mental illness? I highly doubt they even know his name or have tried to help him in a meaningful way.

Great downtown diner! The food is always good, fresh and in plenty supply. The staff is awesome!Parking: Parking lot is very small. But a somewhat empty building and lot across the street.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessibility is not good
We were told the wait would be a few minutes. 30 minutes later we were next on the list. 30 minutes later we left and never ate. There is a bar and 8 booths.

I truly love this diner. Small, limited parking, you wait for a table or sit at the counter and the staff appears to have been there for a long time. Been numerous times since moving to Fredericksburg in August. Usually I get there before 1pm and I always get breakfast. Perfectly cooked bacon that's crumbly and the eggs are the precise over medium. Coffee is good and plentiful. Pancakes are almost larger than the plate but the syrup was lacking so I may start bringing in my own. Lots of daily specials but you have to look for them when you walk in as they aren't usually verbally mentioned. Very clean and usually always busy when I come in.
The amount of food for the price is insane! That's one of the breakfast spots I've been too in a long time. The eggs were cooked perfect, bacon was amazing. Hard to find good bacon, cooked right. They nailed it. The pancakes and French toast were cooked perfect. So much food, couldn't finish it all. Service was great and waitress was attentive and kept cups full!

I arrived at this restaurant at 11:05 walked in at 11:13 was a staring contest I felt intimidated I’m a mixed female and it was mostly caucasians in the restaurant ,was greeted by 2 nice workers only 2 said Goodmorning ..one of the workers gave me an Estimated time for party of 1 for 15min another worker joined the conversation not one of my 2 kind greeter’s another person and she changed it to 30 min. They gave me a pager .. over 40 mins later no page a total of 5 people one couple driving separately and 2 showed up together and one by themselves showed up to restaurant and walked in never came out mind you this is pass my 30min wait at this moment when these people enter the restaurant . I’m very observant a party of one also pulled up during my 30min wait . I waited until 11:55. Still no page they do not accept reservations per website . I am a diabetic yes I snacked before I came here but … to get to my point all the parties that pulled up after me were seated and being tend to when I returned the pager ….

I grew up eating at the 2400 Diner. It was always my mom's go to for a quick breakfast, lunch, or dinner! Not only is the family feel and nostalgia amazing... but the food is full of comfort. I ordered the grilled cheese today. Yes a grilled cheese! But to be honest I'm very particular about my grilled cheese sandwhiches and it's my FAVORITE. I've carried on the tradition and this is now my son's favorite as well. My Mom ordered the scrapple with 2 eggs and the breakfast special which was the apple and caramel french toast. The french toast was pretty soggy from the caramel sauce but it still had great flavor. The service is always amazing... if you are looking for affordable, quick, and comforting, I 10/10 recommend.
