Had reservations still had to wait and we got here at 6pm and they opened up at 2 pm, in 4 hrs. They ran out of ribeyes , salmon, sirloins and chicken. Wow not impressed with my first time here. Hopefully the food I ordered is good???

Was having a mother's day dinner with family, brought no silverware, everyone was served food but mine..I ordered a half salad got it & didn't bring my Philly steak sub...everyone was finished eating when they tried to tell me it was still on its way..I told them to keep it, I will not be back..

Really cool new restaurant that just opened up. Friendly service, cool place, and very good food! The shrimp and grits were delicious, and the half pound Angus cheeseburger was yummy! Can't wait to go back!

A bit disappointing . We love our local restaurants in Galax for a weeknight meal but wanted some place a bit more special for our anniversary. This was advertised as an 'experience ' and appeared to be a bit more high-end. The building was nice. Hostess friendly but preoccupied. I had emailed asking if we might need a reservation and she said they haven't been able to get their emails and complained about their internet provider while walking us upstairs to our table. Our waitress was new and couldn't answer several questions. Then there was the food. My wife got a baked potato that was cold and definitely not freshly cooked today. My salmon was served with a spoonful of rice pilaf which was crunchy. The plating was almost sloppy. The restaurant was not crowded so this should not have been rushed...just very plain and could have been made much more attractive. The salmon was over-salted and the saltiness covered up any flavor from the glaze. Everything was edible but just very average....not at all what we were expecting. They did replace my wife's potato with fries at her request. They could be so much better! Addendum ...make sure if you are sensitive to MSG ...ask if they use it or if it may exist in salad dressings or other seasoning they may not be aware of. My wife had a mild reaction after we got home.

Well, we had wanted to try this restaurant for a while. What we were expecting based on their website and what we experienced were two totally different things......Perhaps the name should be "Where's the damn view"?...When arrived, some person was in the entrance guiding people to their seat, but we're not sure if she worked there or was seating her own guests?....we were crammed into the entryway to wait and some people stayed outside because there is no place to wait inside. The hostess did not seem happy to be there and was all business and seemed upset that it was so busy....we were finally seated downstairs in the very back against a wall with 2 holes in it and a penciled message stating "Fix" with an arrow to the hole.....we couldn't see the band or the "Great View" that this place promotes.....my wife got a brick wall and I got the ice machine and was entertained by watching the kitchen...yes, we were 10 feet from the kitchen, ice machine, and unfinished section of the building. Waitress was great. The guy who brought the food out was very nice.However, the food....being that we were seated in an absolutely horrible table, we were not going to order the expensive steaks or meals...instead, we ordered 3 appetizers, one fresh and two reheated frozen...like TGI Fridays...Cheddar cheese poppers are cream cheese poppers, garden salad was suppose to have onion and cucumber on the side, but instead left everything off and put those items on top...no alcohol, even though the website brags about their selection....Philly Cheese steak had no flavor at all...like none....the 3 chicken tenders for $13 were also not fresh...Overall, a real disappointment after $84 and a $20 tip

It was our first time there, and my expectations were high. The garden salads were good. We asked for bread and the waitress said bread wasnt ready. The veggies and mashed potatoes were good. I got the 10 oz. sirloin, asked for no pink and that's the way it came. It wasn't tender though, but a little dry. It's a great atmosphere and it's nice to have a view of the river.
