I was having a hard time getting reception for Google Maps, and the staff here went above and beyond to make sure I was able to get Internet and get my map loaded so we could continue on our way! “Today was our first time eating at The Hub. Great service with young ladies who were very efficient and friendly and very attentive to customers. They were always smiling and greeting customers. It’s nice to see young people who appear to enjoy their jobs. Food was delicious. The owner came to our table to make sure we were satisfied. “A convenient place in Pipers Gap road. They offer most convenience store items and made to order food reasonably priced. This is the only store around this area for quite a while so if you need a drink or some food or the various other things this is your last chance for many miles heading towards Lambsburg MTN.”

“EL RIO GRANDE IS MY FAVORITE RESTURANT. I USUALLY EAT LUNCH THERE WEEKLY. I ENJOY THEIR SALSA AND CHIPS, AND USUALLLY CHOOSE SOMETHING FROM THE COMPLIMENTARY SALSA BAR. MY FAVORITE FOODS ARE THE LUNCH SPECIAL #1 AND #7. SERVICE IS ALWAYS FAST AND ABOVE AVERAGE. MY ONLY CRITICISM IS THE FAJITAS ARE USUALLY SERVED WITH THE ONIONS AND PEPPERS ALMOST BURNED. AT LEAST THAT HAS BEEN MY EXPERIENCE SEVERAL TIMES, AND FOR THAT REASON I NO LONGER ORDER THEM.”

Being black and stopping in small towns in this area can be scary .Sad to say, but its just our reality. And another guy held the door for us when we left. “LJS fried fish is excellent. Don't sleep on it. It's some of the better fish I've had. The Galax location does a great job.. smiling, friendly staff and they're clean. I thoroughly enjoyed the fish sandwich, the shrimp, chicken planks and everything else. Thank you for the delicious food”

“Came through clutch !! We were in town for the smoke on the mountain events and couldn’t find anyone willing to deliver to our airbnb. We talked to kind folks at Ciro’s , and they had fresh hot pizza at our door in no time. Pizza was fresh and tasty and hit the spot after a long weekend of bbq competition. Thanks Again for excellent service and food !”

“Been having breakfast here several mornings. I believe they cook the eggs on the same grill as their pork sausage. I might have to stop eating them. Other than that, I love the pancakes and oatmeal.”
