I give this restaurant a thumbs up because of its uniqueness. Very much a throwback to the 80's. I've dined here twice and both times I went away satisfied. Prices are very reasonable though going off of other reviews, they are creeping up. This most recent visit I ordered the lunch special which was an open face turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes and green beans. With tip, the total bill was about 10 bucks. I love to find old lil hole in the walls. They tend to have excellent food and knotty pine did not disappoint! They have their regular customers where they know each other's names and most likely what they order on a daily basis which is great. It is an old restaurant and it is dated. That don't bother me. One thing that I didn't particularly like was the scent of the place. It had an odor that i can't describe? Once I walked in, that was what made me nervous...
I like it! Nothing fancy, locals and Good Ole Boys in the bar in the back. There is a restaurant area in the front of the building. I've never been in there but I suspect it has a different vibe, more of a family atmosphere.
