Lunch specials are reasonably priced, the salsa is excellent and the service is good. First time we've been there, and given that we're going to be moving in close by, we'll definitely give it another try. The restroom was a bit long in the tooth, but nothing that would dissuade us from coming back.
Holy hell, this place is IT. Who stops for Mexican food in a strip mall on a road trip? Well, I do I guess and damn was it the right call. Excellent food, with great flavor and just the right amount of heat. Portions are enormous! The Parillada platter for one would easily feed two, and was so good. Quesabirrias tacos were also amazing! Don’t fill up on chips and salsa, because the food itself is spot on.
We went here a few days ago, and the restaurant was very clean. Our server was very friendly, though I didn’t catch his name. I’m giving 4 stars because I ordered the seafood chimichanga, and I didn’t enjoy the “fishy” aftertaste. I like seafood, but not to the point where I’m still tasting it an hour after eating. However, the beef burrito was good.
