Absolutely excellent service, conversation, and spontaneous bard session!! The wildflower and crisp apple are staples, with the bourbon barrel winter cheer and strawesome as great seasonal choices. The Puff Sweet Heat is good, but best in marinades (or blended with Honah Lee Rosé).
We were visiting the area and stopped to check out the meadery. What a delightful treat. We enjoyed 2 flights and a enthusiastic description of our flights. The manager (?) also treated us to some live music. We bought a few bottles to go and are considering joining their online club as we don't live nearby. I do recommend a visit.
The service was excellent. The staff was welcoming, dynamic, patient. And he played guitar in the shop, which was cool. Several of the meads were very good (sunburst, wildflower...). I didn't like the tequila and bourbon barrel meads but I encourage this sort of creativity. The place doesn't look like much from the outside but it was fun to visit.
