Cozy small shop with excellent crab cakes sandwiches, hush puppies, and macaroni!

I have been eating crabcakes, my whole life, good ones, not so good but this restaurant Has the BEST CRABCAKES ever...hands down I have never had such great crabcakes! The pictures that I posted does not do them justice..As other people left they Thanked Bella and the 2 other ladies (sorry forgot names) for the wonderful fish that they had...menu was mostly fish and crab and really good Hushpuppies...it was a really good lunch after spending the day in Front Royal 🦀🦀🦀

Closed April 25-27th would of been nice for them to post this so someone doesn't drive a good distance just to be disappointed..

Excellent service & SUPERB food! Stopped by on Sunday to get a crab cake & collard greens. Best crab cake I EVER had, collard greens & hush puppies were perfectly seasoned, my partner said the mac n cheese was the best he's had in a looong time! Highly recommend Talk of The Mountain!

I had been wanting to try the place for more than a year and decided to stop in today. I’ll definitely go back.I tried the crab cake super platter. I doubt there is a better crab cake anywhere around, if there is I have not found it. These are the real deal, no filler. The platter has a crab cake, shrimp, 2 hush puppies and 2 sides (green beans/southern Mac and cheese). Everything was delicious and the folks running the place were welcoming and friendly. It is right next to the theater, easy to miss it. Anyone who likes crab cakes should give it a try.

I’ve had talk of the mountain at several breweries, I will stalk their facebook page to see where they will be that weekend and find them! The crab cakes are obviously amazing, but you also must get the Mac and cheese & hush puppies! Yum! I haven’t been to their brick and mortar spots, but I will soon !!

We had a crab cake and catfish with hush puppies and soul slaw. We’re from Washington State, so we don’t get catfish often. Everything was delicious. Nice people and great food.

We wish we could give it 10 STARS! The 5 stars are simply not high enough. The food was worth the drive from NoVa! The Shrimp & Egg Roll Basket w/ side of shrimp + the Super Crab Cake platter, collard greens and southern Mac were amazing! Service is like your a favored guest but they make you feel like your family before you leave (in an amazing way)!

Absolutely delicious platter of crab cake, shrimp, hush puppies with sides of FF and Mac and cheese. Highly recommend.

Absolutely delicious! The crab cakes were full of crab meat. Love that it's not all filled with breading, fillers and etc. The soul slaw and potato salad are delicious. Plus, the hush puppies are yummy too. Why did it take me so long to try them? Going again! The ladies there definitely gave great service. Extremely pleased with food and service!

As a Baltimore Girl, I’m usually a little cautious getting crab cakes outside of Maryland. But this was the BEST Crab Cake I’ve ever had!!!! Hush puppies and potato salad are DELICIOUS!
