Best crab cakes I’ve had in a long time. 8 ounces is best. Nicely spiced and of course no filler. Highly recommend!

Amazing food!! Tried for the first time today and will definitely be back!

UPDATE: added pic of crab-cake sandwich and mac&cheese. Both were delicious. Hardly any filler in crab-cake, if any, I couldn’t tell. One of the best crab-cakes I’ve eaten. Mac&cheese could have been browned on top a little more, but the seasoning was spot on. I must also say that the prices are really reasonable. My price was in that range because I ordered two dishes.

First time at this location. Traveled 40 mins. Ordered the fried shrimp and the crab-cake sandwich. At the time of this post, I only tasted a little piece of the crab-cake. The crab-cake sandwich meal was inclusive of mac&cheese. I can say that there is not much filler in the crab-cake. There is a lot of crab meat in it!! The mac & cheese had good flavor. It was southern branded and again I only tasted it. I have not eaten it yet, but I will update this post, w/pics, when I dive into the mac & cheese and the crab-cake sandwich.

However, the shrimp were phenomenal!! Great size and seasoned really well. Customer service at the counter was a little bleak. When I asked for cutlery, I was pointed to a corner to grab my own cutlery. Instead of it being placed in the bag with a Togo order. The food was prepared when ordered, so everything was freshly made.

The establishment is small and quaint nothing fancy. I am huge on hygiene and so I stood and watched as food was being prepared. The young ladies in the kitchen diligently changed their food preparation gloves every time they worked with a different food item. I thought that was really great! The kitchen appeared to be clean enough and well organized. If you’re looking for great Southern flavored seafood and you don’t mind riding to Front Royal, I think this might be the spot for you. Would I visit again? Most definitely!!

I'm from Florida so I know seafood. This tiny little place blew me away. The crab cake was amazing! No filler, just crab. The fried shrimp were large and equally delicious. The whole meal was as good as any I've had anywhere.

Definitely a hole in the wall but it was so delicious!! The crab cakes don't use filler so you're getting all meat. The lobster roll was to die for. The Mac n cheese has a gooey smokey flavor. The hush puppies are perfection. The coleslaw is too. Everything is made to order.

I’m a huge seafood enthusiast, and that was the most amazing crab cake of my entire life. I didn’t even think I liked fried oysters previously but those were incredible too. The southern cheesy mac, collard greens, hush puppies, and sauce were also soooo delicious. 5 stars, 10/10, can’t wait to try more from the menu!

Listen, I’m a huge seafood enthusiast and I have NEVER had a crab cake that good in my ENTIRE life. I also tried someone’s fried oyster (I previously thought I did not like fried oysters) and that thing was AMAZING. The sides I got (southern cheesy mac, collard greens, and hush puppies) were delicious too. And the sauce? Everything was incredibly delicious. Can’t wait to try more from the menu! ❤️‍🔥 It smelled so good I forgot to take a picture before digging in!!!

Delicious! Well worth the wait. The mac n’ cheese was perfect, collared greens flavorful, and the crab cake has soooo much crab in it!

The best lobster roll in the area imo. The lobster is fresh and not overcooked, and whatever that secret sauce is that they drizzle on top of it is amazing. Their collard greens are so flavorful, the hush puppies are so crispy and well seasoned. We loved the crabby fries too. Every visit the staff has been very friendly and helpful! This place is definitely a Front Royal hidden gem. Definitely recommend. For parking, the easiest is to park in the large lot off Chester behind on Cue and it's a short 2 minute walk.
