The crab cake super platter is "disturbingly good"!The meal started with a side order of hushpuppies and melted butter. One can tell immediately they were hand made on the spot and fried to perfection.Next came the platter...The very large shrimp were fried to a perfect light brown in color. Butter and sauce are available.The crab cake is something to write home about. Seriously, there are zero-point-zero fillers or binders. 100% lump crab. Buttery smooth and delicately spiced. The sides of mac & cheese and the potato salad were a nice accompaniment but stand in the shadow of the crab cake.The price may seem high, but this is no joke and worth every penny.The open kitchen and casual atmosphere are at odds with a meal that should be served on fine China.

Damn fine food. Had the crab cake platter. No filler in this crab cake. It is excellent. The hush puppies are really good also and the soul slaw while just a it sweet for me is very good also. He offered me a taste of the smoked Mac and cheese and it is amazing. I would definately recommend this place. It is a bit pricy but you are getting premium product so well worth it.

Went here twice now and it doesn’t disappoint. The crab cakes are better than anything in the city, no filler, and much cheaper. Hush puppies are nice and sweet too! Definitely come here if you like crab cakes.

This is my first time here as I was recommended by a friend. The prices are a little high for seafood and I understand that due to the location. As for the food it’s mediocre don’t believe the hype. Their crabcake sandwhich does not even come with lettuce or tomato. The bathroom is unsanitary being dirty and someone could be electrocuted as the socket is about to fall apart. They have potential if they fix some things. I ate the oyster platter the mac & cheese was good. Overall, I’m glad I tried the food, but I will not be back.
If you're looking for real crabcakes, like in no fillers added, look no further. This place has the best fresh seafood around. The staff was friendly and helpful. The dining area was clean and well laid out. The atmosphere was inviting, and the music was on point. Highly recommend this place if you're a seafood lover.
