I am gluten intolerant and usually I can’t have fried shrimp or crab cakes. We decided to try this place since it advertised no fillers in the crab cakes and GF. I’m so glad we stopped. It’s a small place and easy to miss but my crab cakes were so delicious. I also had fries which are GF and coleslaw. The hush puppies aren’t gluten free, but I had more than enough food. I do not say this lightly: this was best fried shrimp I’ve ever had. Also the best crabcake and fried catfish that have ever graced my palate. The sides were perfection. Just look at the photos- you can see the perfection.

Family owned- there were three (maybe four) generations behind the counter and we watched them bread and fry the shrimp and cook everything on demand. Nothing is frozen or pre made. The guys were friendly and fun to chat with; felt...

Perfection… no-filler crab cakes, juicy fried shrimp, and legit southern sides to clog your arteries for days. My only regret is that I couldn’t try more of their menu. Make TOTM a destination when visiting Shenandoah Nat’l Park.
