Great food and good service. The food is good quality, authentic, very delicious, and priced well. For the two of us it was 60$, we bought cheese dip 2 entrees and 2 desserts! Definitely recommend!Parking: In a shopping center with plenty of parking
The salsa is chunks of tomatoes/onions and the rest is watery. My steak fajita w/ shrimp came well done when I asked for medium and it included 3 shrimps. The chorizo queso came with big chunks of chorizo. I had to use a knife in my queso to cut the pieces smaller. The rice? I’ve had better out of a box. The chicken tacos were juicy enough to make the shell soggy yet the meat was dry. Margarita? One and done.

El Tio Tex-Mex Grill, located in Gainesville, Virginia, is a family owned and run Mexican restaurant. Honestly, this is the best Mexican restaurant in town! I have never had a bad meal here and try to stop by whenever I'm passing through the area. I've actually been here twice this week.The staff here is friendly, the food is absolutely delicious and everything always comes out very quickly! It's a really great place for a sit-down meal even if you're low on time.I highly recommend the steak quesadillas or the chicken fajita meal. This restaurant, also in the classic Mexican restaurant fashion, serves chips with a side of homemade fresh salsa. The chips are very light, not like chips I've had at other Mexican restaurants, which are generally heavier, and the salsa is extremely fresh. Everything they have pairs wonderfully with the table-side guacamole that is prepared fresh for you and to your taste.I can't recommend this restaurant enough if you like fantastic Mexican food.
