Excellent food that come out FAST. Not overly spiced for the sake of heat like many texmex places are. Seating is... rough. There's nothing to absorb noise so it can get quite noisy. Thankfully they did cut the dining room in half so that does eliminate some noise.
Everyone in our party of 8 loved everything about El Tio. The service was efficient but not intrusive. The freshly made guacamole was so tasty. We all had different dishes and loved everything.
I have found my favorite Tex Mex restaurant in the Gainesville Virginia and Warrenton Area. Have been looking for a great place since I moved out here 2 years ago! The margaritas are delicious and well made especially the premium ones where you choose your own tequila! At the server’s recommendation I chose the steak burrito and it was delicious. The salsa is fresh, the guacamole is fresh and delicious. This is my new go to for Tex Mex in the area
