LJS fried fish is excellent. Don't sleep on it. It's some of the better fish I've had. The Galax location does a great job.. smiling, friendly staff and they're clean. I thoroughly enjoyed the fish sandwich, the shrimp, chicken planks and everything else. Thank you for the delicious food
Pretty sure I was the last customer of the night when I came but that's still no excuse for my waffle fries being old and hard to chew, my hush-puppies were the same as the fries. The coleslaw was okay besides the fact that there was like giant pieces of cabbage in it and it was slightly dry, only thing that was fresh was the fish and I would have preferred it to be less greasy. The reason I'm giving three stars and not two is because the customer service was very professional...
Tastes exactly the same as when I was a kid. I always get the chicken and fish platter, and the bottom of the plate is filled with those little crunchies I loved as a kid. Every time we're I'm in Galax, we have lunch here. Highly recommend.
