I would normally give this restaurant a 5 star rating. Unfortunately, I recommend everything on the menu except scallops. To be fair, the manager took $10 off the order but, at $20 for scallops they were super small, fishy (not fresh) taste and just awful. Again, I love everything else I've had there but, caution against the scallops.
Galax needed something new and exciting. This is a place that's simple but offering a really delicious seafood menu. Prices are reasonable. My wife and I have treated ourselves several times already and have thus far been very pleased with the entire operation of The Hub we both my wife and I wish everyone associated with The Hub years of success.
We were traveling through and looking for a good place to eat.
This little place was delightful.
The food was good.
I have a shellfish allergy and they went over and above, making sure my food wasn't cross contaminated.
The waitress was super sweet.
The atmosphere is like old tasty freeze from days gone by.
