We were at Kane St. Smokehouse on our 25th anniversary (April 29) and the generous portions of the most tender, moist smokehouse meats and tastiest sides will leave you wanting more even though you are stuffed! May I recommend this wonderful, warm welcoming place with the best people you will ever meet? Amanda, Kylie and the rest will make you feel like family! Oh, I never liked smoked chicken until Amanda suggested theirs. It has become my favorite! And the sauces are pretty spectacular, as well. I encourage everyone to try the desserts, the Oreo Fluff and Banana Pudding are scrumptious! Thank you for your hospitality and making this our favorite restaurant, not to mention making us, as well as all, feel like more than just customers! The pulled pork was good but I couldn’t get past the watered down bbq sauce. If they didn’t water down their sauces I would give it a better review but bbq sauce is one of the most important things for me. If you don’t mind watery bbq then you’ll love it because they had great customer service. Pls stop watering it down because I would love a closer bbq location than Braden’s in kpt.

Absolutely love this place! Awesome meats and sauce! Never had jalepeno corn casserole but it was yummy!!! Was hoping sweet rolls were bigger but that’s ok don’t need all the bread anyway! We have enough to eat for tomorrow too!

The pulled pork is really good but the other meats are too fatty. The sides are horrible except for the baked beans. The inside could use some updating and a little friendliness from the employees would help. Gate City is such a small town and business is important but they need to be friendly to outsiders not from the area for the extra support.

Nothing on my order was right. Unless the brisket platter looks like pulled pork now, that was wrong. There was also a fist size of fat and gristle in the " brisket platter". I ask for cole slaw with my sandwich. It wasn't included. I went back in and they told me it was on the sandwich. Which would have been ok, IF IT HAD BEEN ON THE SANDWICH!! We used to frequent the place. Not again.

Decided to give the little place a try, BIG MISTAKE. My friend straight up pulled what we think was whale blubber out of his pork platter. Tried to make the food more edible with some sauce but somehow made it worse. 95% water 5% sauce. Prison quality food.
