Went here for the first time recently, and I absolutely loved the food! The service was amazing! The only reason why I'm rating this place 4 stars is because it's not eco friendly. Instead of getting a cup/glass of water it's a plastic water bottle. And most people just throw it away instead of recycling. There are also paper plates and plastic silverware instead of reusable plates and silverware. We as humans should care more about not contributing to the mass landfills that are destroying the planet. And doing away with as much plastic as we can. Hopefully one day the owner can adjust those concerns. Other than that everything else was perfect!
Kid-friendliness: No kids menus but there are cheese and chicken empanadas.
Everything in this place is amazing. The food, the service… they deserve 10 stars!!!

I don't appreciate that you have to purchase water. The food is tasty, not a huge portion for the price. I get the vegetarian, which is very tasty and I've been back for it many times but I don't really see other options. Update: thanks for the quick response. I would never think I would need to bring water in and none was offered but at least now I and others know. I commented that I was vegetarian and that I guess I was getting the only thing I'm ever able to get. They did not offer any options.

Have been enjoying Bocata’s yummy Venezuelan food since their old location in Chesterfield. We have tried arepas in many restaurants and none compare to Bocatas. Highly recommend!! ??

⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Venezuelan food done right!! Friendly staff, convenient location, amazing food. I’m gluten-free and this place will definitely become a go to spot. The Arepas are as authentic as you get and the chicken empanadas with the sauce are to die for. Edwin was very helpful and steering me in the right direction as a first time customer. The place was booming and he definitely took his time explaining all the options before me. Look no further than Bocata Arepa Bar for a new Amazing experience.
