This place is a hidden gem. It used to be in the south side of Richmond before Covid, and use to drive for 30 min to get food from there.Until today, their quality is phenomenal and the food is EXCELLENT. They have probably one of the best burgers I have ever had.I highly recommend it whether you’re local or passing by the city. You won’t regret it

Love love love this place. I just work my way through the menu at this point. Also, my fav cafe con leche in RVA! Wish I lived closer but I'm happy to make the drive. It's casual and laid-back inside with maybe 10-12 tables. Service has always been great with the food coming out hot and fresh.

Came here for dinner on a Saturday night. It wasn't crowded and they have a parking lot which is awesome. We were seated immediately and given menus. The menu has a lot of options, a few of which are vegetarian. I got the arepa vegallon and it did not disappoint! The combo of the sweet plantains plus the well seasoned black beans was perfection. I also got plantains with cheese as an appetizer and they were so good. Only downside was getting water in a plastic bottle, not what I was expecting and would love a more sustainable option, but you can't beat the food here! Definitely planning to return.

it’s a hidden treasure! The arapas are absolutely crave-worthy, and the creama sauce paired with their hot sauce is a flavor explosion. I’m hooked on the Pabellon – it’s so good that even my husband, who usually insists on ordering something different, can’t resist getting it with me every time. The interior has a charming neon sign wall that reads ‘I love arapas,’ that sets a fun vibe. My only feedback is that If they carry that aesthetic throughout the rest of the restaurant, it would be even better – regardless, Highly recommended! Our favorite place in Short Pump!!
