Boni Roni BBQ To-Go

I wanted some good barbecue and thought I'd give this place a try. When I tell you that the food was great, wonderful and finger lickin...is an understatement. I went to wait in my car and the gentleman was kind enough to bring it out to me because it was hot and ready...the chicken was tender and juicey. The beans and the coleslaw was delicious. This food was well seasoned. A little bit of barbecue heaven....I will be back..tomorrow ? This place is small in size but BIG on flavor.

Rode from Portsmouth and definitely not disappointed! Excellent BBQ flavors and sensations, my mouth and tummy are quite happy.Owners are very personable and charismatic as well, 10 out of 10 would recommend and do again.

Very good NC style BBQ. Stopped in for a BBQ pork sandwich and baked beans. Great quick lunch. Would be great to add a little pulled pork option to the menu and baked beans with pulled pork and jalapeños. ??

Average bbq. There was fat and cartilage in the pulled pork.

Outstanding Pork BBQ, great flavor and tenderness. The wings are huge and the hushpuppies are perfectly crispy.

I’ve been passing this joint for awhile and finally found the time. Greeted by the sweetest two ladies this side of the railroad tracks. This hog is the finest! Being from Tidewater and knowing bbq down that way (vinegar) I had to see what was happening inside these four walls. Man oh man! I picked up a pint sans sauce (no sugar please) and took it home and added my own NC style seasonings and oh lord! Bravo ladies! The word is out now. Thank you for bringing me home. See you soon! Love LOVE this place!!! We just moved to VA from NYC in Nov. & just stopped in & fell in love with the FOOD & the owner & staff. Everything on the menu is fantastic. I’m was never a big fan of BBQ but they got me to be one. The coleslaw, WOW. Thx ! I’ll be back for more..,.,

Classic North Carolina BBQ. everything tastes great BBQ, baked beans, Coleslaw & hush puppies are on point. Very friendly nice people

Chicken barbecue had skin and grizzle in it. Huge turn off. Lacked flavor. I didn't not care for the watery sauce that I assumed was barbecue sauce. The bun doesn't support the amount of meat. Lastly, the baked beans tasted like they are from a can. Probably wont try it again.

Today is 04/13/2021, I had lunch from here for the first time and I got the pork and 6 wings combo and everything was amazing. They gave me a warm welcome as soon as I walked in, making me feel like I was at home. Gave me some information on their history how they got started and it was all around amazing experience. I will definitely be returning.
