Gojo | Ethiopian Restaurant

This is definitely one of my family's favorite spots! My oldest daughter always request Gojo on her birthday. So sad to see it closed. I hope it opens back up one day.

Admittedly I was nervous as the reviews were mixed. However, I could not have asked for a better first time! Hawi, our server, was so personable and kind and very funny. We loved him! And the food was AMAZING. I was concerned it would be too spicy for my husband, but it was perfect! We’ll be back! ?

Stopped in here on a Monday night on a whim. We have eaten Ethiopian several times at places across the country and we were very impressed with Gojo! The house specialty beef was particularly delicious as well as all the veggies we ordered. Perfectly spiced. We will be back!

I got the vegetarian combination (vegan by default). It included just about all of the items on the veg section of the menu. Everything was flavourful, and I enjoyed getting to try a variety of things. They give you lots of injera too, where others I've been to do not. My 11 year old enjoyed this as well. Staff was friendly and helpful.

First experience with Ethiopian food. Owner/server was super helpful and informative. We will be back!

The food was very good! And the owner was such a delight to talk to. We went on a Saturday night and it wasn't too busy but still had a good amount of people. We love that their is an Ethiopian place in short pump!

My family and I had the pleasure of eating here, the food and service was absolutely fantastic and I would easily recommend Gojo to anyone.

The beef tibs with awaze sauce were amazing! We also got the lamb but the beef was so tasty. Service was friendly and welcoming. Definitely want to go back and try more options.

The place was cozy, and our waiter was VERY personalable. Ordered the beef sambusa (which were amazing but only got two in the order). The actual dinner was authentic Ethiopian sides served on top of a spongy, sour bread, and you eat with your hands. The flavors were good!

Poor excuse for Ethiopian restaurant. First time wasn't good but gave them benefit tried a second. Service is ridiculous. It's like this is a part time job or something and that's the owner.
