Very good. Had a reservation at 5:00 pm. Only a handful of customers for a Saturday evening. A Perry's steakhouse opened right down the street.,but I still prefer Hondos. Love their New Orleans bbq shrimp appetizer. I had a ribeye and wife had the filet . Both were delicious. Great attentive service.

Visited Hondo's for a special occasion. The food and the service were excellent and made for a memorable experience.

We dined with a 2for1 special for Hondo's email members. The Manager, John, greeted us on our way to the table and we were so glad to see him. Food was delicious as always and our wait staff Brian is a consummate professional who took care of us with grace and charm. The atmosphere at Hondo's is second to none. I love going out for date night or a special occasion and not having to see other diners in shorts and flip flops as is the standard at another upscale (by prices) restaurant in the west end. I prefer to have my filet in style. Hondo's offers an exceptional dining experience all around.

My wife and I had a most enjoyable evening at Hondo's as we celebrated her birthday. Our table was waiting for us when we arrived and our server (Johnny) greeted us as soon as we were seated. He did an excellent job in every respect and we had a wonderful meal. Hondo's even provided my wife with a delicious desert at no charge. We will certainly be back again!

Had not been to Hondas in years, so decided to give it a try. Won't be going back. Hondos is considered a higher end steak house and the prices reflect that. This visit was possibly the worst eating experience I have had in a while. Starting with the wine, ordered white wine it was not very chilled and had to ask for a chiller(waiter did not bring one).🤔He opened the bottle (twist off), and poured away never asking to taste, but he did do it correctly at the table next to us. I get that it was not a bottle with a cork, but higher end steak house should do this anyway...it went downhill from there...he also walked away with the opened bottle when he went to get a chiller...when I asked about specials, he pointed to the insert in menu, also when I asked how the salmon was prepared he did not know the answer, came back and rattled something off....food was subpar and a few items were not hot. I am not sure if he was new or just lack of training.

We celebrated an anniversary at Hondos and we weren't disappointed. The service was excellent without being rushed. Attentive yet non-intrusive. The steaks were as expected for a high-end steakhouse. Juicy succulent and tender. Cooked exactly as we ordered. Cocktails were very good. The coffee served in a French press was perfect. Thank you Hondos for a wonderful dining experience.

First time here and the food was absolutely amazing. We got the $89 deal where you got appetizer, salad, steak (choice of 3), side and dessert. I got the filet, rare and it was melt in your mouth. For dessert, got the chocolate torte. I am a huge chocolate fan, this was top 3 chocolate desserts ever. The only downside, they didn't have the wine we ordered. It was on the menu, but they were out. Almost all wines are over $75, so choices are limited if you don't want to break the bank. Given the wine was on the menu, the sommelier should have done something for the inconvenience, especially with our bill over $500. Not asking for a freebie, but providing something comparable and charging in the same price range would have been nice. There were only 2 other cabernets in that price range, I hadn't heard of either of them. Still gave all 5 stars. Would definitely go back, as the food really was amazing.

Sunday Brunch Food wasn't as good as in past visits. Was very disappointed. Bacon in omelette was burnt, bacon on buffet was raw, biscuits were burnt, ribs were burnt, potatoes were raw, gnocchi was cold, hot tea was cold. When Manager was told he said ok I'll take care of it, no I'm sorry nor compensation.

We ate here for the first time last night and i must say it was absolutely delicious. My filet mignon was cooked perfectly to perfection and the blue cheese melted so perfectly on top. It was definitely worth the price and we will be going back. My baked sweet potato was on point as well along with all our other sides. Thanks for the great food.
