IHOP in Sarasota, FL. The food was great and our server Meghan was excellent. She promptly refilled our drinks and checked on us frequently to make sure we had everything we needed.

Doing an over night stay in Glen Alan and thought IHOP is always safe. 6:30 pm and not 1 car on the parking lot. We went in and not 1 patron. After 5 minutes no one greeted us. We left. Disappointing.

This was our first time eating at this location and I will never go back! The landscaping is overgrown and exterior looks worn. I should have known better at that point but I decided to try anyway. The overall restaurant needs a deep clean, to include the bathrooms. The restrooms were especially dirty! The staff needs training and some should be fired. A waiter came out of the kitchen with a tray full of drinks and ran into a waitress. Needless to say the floor was a mess but hearing the cursing coming out of the kitchen was very unprofessional. Accidents happen but how staff reacts is huge. I hope management will see the bad reviews and will address the issues. It’s very unfortunate but it’s something that can be corrected, I love the idea of having brunch in the area.

Our regular server when we dine in is Victoria. She is ALWAYS so polite and is an overall EXCELLENT server…might I add that she’s beautiful!! The food is always, always, always cooked to perfection.

Terrible experience. When we got there we were happy to see its kids eat free every day, we go in and are greeted and sat, all good. We sit and order and as we wait we look up and see the horrible water damage in the ceiling, disgusting and mold was obviously growing above the check out area. When we get our food the sauce we were handed had like a teaspoon of dressing in it so we had to ask for two more, whatever. My sandwich was missing all of the avocado that was supposed to be on it and everything was straight out of a microwave. Not to mention 3 tables over was a 11 year old boy with no shirt on just walking around the restroom, do shirt no shoes no service? The trashiest experience because when we checked out she charged us for the kids meal and we said “kids eat free?” She was oblivious to the huge sign on the window and had to call the manager over. Definitely won’t be coming again which is so sad, IHOPs used to be such good places.
The service was great but the food wasn't great. I got a the breakfast chicken fajita tacos. They were incredibly greasy and the chicken was somewhat fatty. I didn't feel well after eating them due to the level of grease.

The food itself was good, but the service and atmosphere? That’s a different story, partner. First of all, the entire building is surrounded by trash and tree branches in the bushes, sidewalk and parking lot. And as for the inside, the odor of the nasty bathrooms can be smelled all throughout the store. If this was a cartoon, there would’ve been brown fog coming from the bathrooms and entering my nostrils. The place was full of flies and one kept landing on my pancakes with it’s sickly fly feet. And as for the service, it took like 15 minutes to even be asked what we’d like to drink. Then when we finally did get our food, it took like 15 to 20 MORE minutes for the waitress to be seen again! Me and my empty glass were just sitting there feeling sad. Also I was supposed to get a hashbrown with my meal and never got it. Not sure what happened to that. Aaaaaanyway, won’t be coming back here😔
