3 stars. The only thing that saved it from a 0 was the beer and cocktails. We wanted a spot with a good-sized patio for dinner and decided on the location near Green Top (in the old CiCi’s building).

Service was prompt, polite, and friendly. My husband enjoyed his beer, and I had a “Dirty Shirley” that I really liked.

The food… not so much. The chicken tenders were clearly frozen, and they tasted like they might have been cooked in the old CiCi’s pizza oven. We ordered about $90 worth of food for our group — chicken & waffles, salad, pizza, and loaded tots. While we ate most of it because we were starving, we didn’t enjoy it.

This place feels more like a bar with a cool vibe than a true food establishment. If you want good drinks, check it out. For the food? I can’t recommend it.

Good beer, nanotechnology sized selection.

We had a blast at Intermission after a morning of kids sports. A perfect stop to enjoy a pizza and a beer while kids enjoy reasonably priced arcade games. Very casual and comfortable vibes.
We loved the gluten reduced beer, and the pizza was excellent. We’ll be back for sure!

I used to not like beer until I found this place. They always have fun event like a book club. Also I love their special pairings like the Girl Scout Cookies and beer. Right now my favorite beer is the Giggleberry dark roasted malt, lightly hopped with raspberries) with a peanut butter Pattie!

Well, it’s time to confess…my love for the flatbread at Intermission Brewery has reached an obsession.

I only want this flatbread, and no other.

I can’t stop thinking about the peppers and onions!

Hearty strips of red bell pepper, green bell pepper, and sweet onions.

On the most robust fire roasted tomato sauce I’ve ever had.

Oh, the cheese was melted perfectly, and there was plenty of it.

All on top of a crisp flatbread that was seriously just the right thickness.

It paired beautifully with the chilled red blend I enjoyed with it.

And my husband was thrilled with his flatbread as well. He ordered the Italian sausage variety, with a Potter’s Petite Cider - chilled nicely, of course.

From the moment we walked into Intermission Brewery, we were made to feel welcome by the bartender. He was also our server, and he was fast and friendly. I didn’t catch his name, but he was joking with us, which we appreciated.

As for parking, it was simple and straightforward. We parked right next to the entrance. There was a larger group of people at one table when we arrived. I know that Intermission holds meet-ups for groups, which is great.

There was also a family with an elementary school age child. They were playing some sort of cards or board game. I thought it was wonderful that this establishment was family friendly. There’s such a chill atmosphere, I think people just enjoy themselves here.

My husband and I can’t wait to go back! Intermission holds a “Date Night” special each and every Friday this summer. Be sure to check out their Facebook page. They keep it updated frequently with events and news.

IF YOU GO TO TRIVIA AND YOU PLAY WITH GENERIC TRIBUTE BAND, BEWARE, BECAUSE HE LOOKS AT HIS PHONE

Honestly, nothing really against their beer, but we went for trivia, and when we first walked in, a guy went around to collect our team names. We didn't think anything of it at first, but this MF was sitting in a corner table and was GOOGLING the answers, but trying to make it seem like he was using some Jimmy Neutron brain to figure out the questions, and then, all of a sudden, what do you know, he 'has' the right answer. The worst part is, he clearly knows the people who either work, or own this place. If you have to cheat at trivia at a brewery, you are a sad existence of a human being.

Honorable mentions are that it took about 2 hours to get through half of the trivia rounds, last call was about two questions into round 3 out of 4, and all these weirdos all said goodbye to us by team name as we left, like some freaky cult.

Stopped in for a beer and was kicked out of my seat by a large party that was going on around me. There was no respect for anyone else in the place. If you are going to host a large even at least close it to the public. I had to move twice. Won't be coming back.

Nice little spot. Variety of beer options, lots of games, fun movie theme and not too crowded. Roomy outdoor space with tables. Love that they have a lower ABV stout available, as it's hard to find nowadays.

I’ve been coming here regularly for six years and still haven’t tired of it. I always find something I like, sometimes even styles I don’t normally care for I find I like here! The staff, especially owner Courtney, are super friendly and welcoming. They also have a lot of fun different game and trivia nights! With food and sodas, there something here for everyone.
