Stopped in for a beer and was kicked out of my seat by a large party that was going on around me. There was no respect for anyone else in the place. If you are going to host a large even at least close it to the public. I had to move twice. Won't be coming back.

Nice little spot. Variety of beer options, lots of games, fun movie theme and not too crowded. Roomy outdoor space with tables. Love that they have a lower ABV stout available, as it's hard to find nowadays.

Hello it's me. Beer & service review ONLY. Let me further say in support ... one cannot fairly say - oh 4 stars for a location that is situated in the middle of a random parking lot in comparison to one that's on "huge tracts of land" (who got that Monty python reference ) with amazing views, and try to do a side-by-side comparison? I judge it on its own merits bc it is where it is and that's that so it would be unfair to expect the impossible.. Onward: I came for two reasons. Returning from a distant location and it was on my travel path. As well, I was aware they had some reduced gluten offerings so this was a bonus in the beer world. The location is literally next to an automotive store. Wee bit challenging to locate. However, once you get in there, it's a nice space with bar seating and tables. There are board games for those who want to play, the service was attentive, and bartender is ready to explain what they have on tap. Unlike some of the offerings in Richmond, proper, it's not super heavy on the IPAs and, (perhaps an unpopular opinion on my part) not everybody wants every draft to be an IPA. I was therefore pleasantly surprised to find a more varied beer selection. My only negative comment is going to make me sound like a grouch, but it can get loud (very) when folks bring little kids bc it's small. My overall opinion is that in this kinda beer "desert" this is a nice spot!

I’ve been coming here regularly for six years and still haven’t tired of it. I always find something I like, sometimes even styles I don’t normally care for I find I like here! The staff, especially owner Courtney, are super friendly and welcoming. They also have a lot of fun different game and trivia nights! With food and sodas, there something here for everyone.

The beers are solid, service is top notch, atmosphere is fun, and its just a great place to relax with friends. Been visiting for years and will keep coming back. If you haven't visited, do it.

Looking for a place we could go with our dog. Had been here once before years ago and was not impressed. Called about five times starting at 5 PM to find out if their new location was open yet, but could not get an answer. So I went to the new location first And it was closed so we then drove to the original location. The patio is actually a dried grassy area with warped wooden picnic tables. They have some planters, but they all had dead flowers in them. The interior was nice and active. When I asked the owner when the new location would open, his response was “when it is ready”. So not friendly people either. if you are looking for craft beer in this area, I recommend Origin Beer Lab in Ashland or center of the universe or head down 288 to kindred spirit

Very unique tasting room. Stopped in for a drink. All the beers on the tasting flight were really good, got a few 4 packs to go. Beers are great and the names and beer can designs are fun. Will be back soon

Great place to spend an afternoon.I stumbled upon Intermission while waiting for my wife’s car to be serviced and I’m very glad I did. With a gluten sensitivity, this is one of the ONLY local brewery where most of the beer is GLUTEN REDUCED! Don’t have a gluten allergy? Don’t worry, you won’t notice anything missing.Intermission has a friendly, knowledgeable staff that will pair you up with the perfect brew. Their beers range the spectrum from light and refreshing to dark and bitter. They have created a relaxed, family friendly environment that will have you coming back for their next release.

Don't waste your time at this place. Below average overpriced beer, frozen pizza, and rude owners. Save your time and money and go somewhere else. I even heard the brewer calling a customer a fukking azzhole.
