Joey’s Hotdogs has the best hot dogs around. The hot dog with chili, cheese, and onions are absolutely perfect! I’ll probably make this a weekly stop. Thanks, Joey!

I'll eat six of these bad boys and still want another 10. Can't go wrong with the straight chili cheese dogs. So good. Everyone's always super friendly. 100 million stars.

A wonderful Mom & Pop traditional hot dog spot with delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere which includes smiles, gospel music in the background, and prayer list on the counter. We'll be back!!

The hot dogs and the NY hot sausage is the best. I haven't had a better hot sausage since I moved here from Philly in 2016!

Joey's hotdogs are the best. He is the grandson of the hotdog king from Norfolk va. I grew up in Norfolk va and my grandfather use to take me to Tony's hotdogs on Lafayette Blvd. Going to Joey's reminded me of those times. The hotdogs and chili are the same as back in the day. Thanks for the memories.

Joey’s is a classic hot dog place. Grilled dogs with a good snap to them. He also serves I brats and NY hots. Nothing fancy but good food.

This place hits that nice sweet spot between nostalgic charm and great, simple food. Joey’s feels like a time capsule, classic black-and-white floors, friendly counter service, and an unmistakable New York hot dog joint vibe, right down to the snappy sausages.

I ordered two Joey Dogs and a Bratwurst, all “all the way” which is mustard, onion, and their homemade chili. That snap when you bite into them? Very nice. They use dogs made for them by Usinger’s. I also had the redskin potato salad (loaded with dill, just how I like it) and a scoop of Italian pasta salad, both solid sides but the potato salad was my favorite.

Prices are reasonable, portions are fair, and the whole experience just feels honest and no-frills. Staff was warm and welcoming.

Worth noting: they’ve got Christian-themed decor and worship music playing. I’m not religious, but it didn’t feel pushy—just part of the vibe. If you are Christian, you’ll probably find that aspect especially appealing.

All in all, this is a great little local gem. I’d absolutely come back.
