Very nice local Mom and Pop Italian restaurant with Sicilian dishes. Cozy with just six tables. Service is friendly and the pasta dishes are very, very (9.5/10) good. Pasta Marinara, Eggplant Parmesan are my favorites. They offer a nice little selection of Italian wines to compliment the meal and some choice desserts to finish it off. You will enjoy your visit! My only slight is that the pizza falls surprisingly short of other local options (try Pearla's).

I really dont like to talk bad about a place when the owners really nice. Spoke to him a bit while waiting for my order. A real italian from sicily. Well sadly thats where it ended for me. I really wasnt in the mood for pizza but the chinese place was closed so I saw this place and figured what the hell. Im a pizza snob. So after talking to the nice owner I ordered a medium pizza with sausage and pepperoni. And a Meat ball sub. Maybe its me but the pizza was just ok and the meatball sub for 11.00 was a huge disapointment. i have never been to any quality italian restaurant that cuts there meatballs in half. I actually have had better at subway. I dont live in the area so maybe this is a local favorite but I will never go back. Pizza was nothing to brag about. I asked the grub hub driver on my way in how was the food and he said he doesnt eat here. I was going to turn around but I didnt. Again. I feel bad giving my honest opinion to such a nice owner...

I recently moved from New York where I had multiple restaurants that served great food! Now that I am in Virginia I had not come across a location that was even close to my expectations…until now! This spot offers a generous selection of Italian favorites but most importantly my favorite, a real deal pizza pie, cooked with care and made with quality ingredients. I am not sure how anyone can compromise with these subpar poorly ran restaurants in Short Pump. La Vita E’ Bella is quality authentic Italian food with a family atmosphere, this spot is worth a drive even if you’re not in the area!

Pizza had so much oil you could smell the olives when u open the box.Tried going back 3 years later. The food is still horrible. Decided to eat inside and was wondering why the dining room was empty. Quickly realized it is probably because the people that work there have an attitude and treat you like they are doing you a favor by letting you eat there. Definitely won't be giving them a third chance!

Hidden gem off Nuckols corridor. Family owned and real Sicilian owners. Restaurant is very clean and cozy. Food was super delicious! I enjoyed everything that we have ordered. My favorite was the Garlic Knots (12 pieces), they were soaked in fresh garlic/olive oil. Marinara dipping sauce was one of the best that I ever had. We ordered Chicken Philly with Provolone from the $9.99 lunch special. It came with the French Fries, I loved the Sub and fries. My son ordered a large Sausage and Pepperoni pizza, it was very tasty and crust was nice and thin. I ordered the Chicken Marsala with pasta on the side. The chicken was very tender and you can cut it with a fork. The Chicken Marsala came with a house salad, my son and I enjoyed the salad with their house dressing. Appetizer Bruschetta was very fresh. Cannoli made the whole lunch like a cheer on top.

Another weekend to savor another restaurant food. And we are so happy to find this place nearby and we didn’t made a mistake coming to this restaurant. It’s locally owned by a Sicilian family and the owner Francesco is hands on and welcoming, he offered us the lunch specials and explained to us what comes with it. The place is cleaned and cozy and the service is fast. We ordered garlic knots for appetizer and Seafood Alla Vita Bella with penne which is cooked al dente and the sauce is fresh it also comes with garlic bread and fresh salad and we ordered cannoli for dessert which was just made. The food are so delicious and we can’t wait to try their pizza and other food on the menu. This will be our new place to go for Subs and pizza too. We also ordered Italian sub which comes with French fries to bring home for my daughter and that is so delicious too. I can’t wait to tell my friends & siblings about this place.

Little restaurant with excellent service. Gets busy at times and the eating area is a little small in the front with a few extra tables along the side. The parmigiana sandwiches are great, pizza is very good and the calzones were excellent.

I don't often leave reviews but I love this place. Came in for a casual birthday dinner my son's birthday. Theirs was our 2nd visit. The wine sauce in the mussels is flavorful. I had meat tortellini Ala Panna (cream sauce, ham and mushrooms). Awesome! Our party also had baked Ziti and fettuccine with shrimp. The food here is "swing your feet happy" good. Will be in our regular rotation when we want quality authentic Italian. The staff is also so friendly and accommodating.
