One of the oldest and best place in RVA for Indian food. The menu is extensive and all items have a distinct taste. My favourites are and not limited to, the Biryanis (all kinds), Chicken Makhani, Goat Roast and many more. Today (8/18/2024) I tried Malabar Chciken and I woudl give a 5/5.
Best in town. Comfort food.. excellent veg and no. Veg options. Evening snacks , biryanis , breakfast on Sunday are all some of our favorites. Dosa night on Mondays is awesome as well, best Indian option in Richmond

Stopped in while passing through. Very dirty store. Roaches both alive and dead in the restrooms. I would not eat any prepared food here.
I will never suggest anyone to come here!! After seven hours of driving, I decided to take a detour to get some food and drinks which was suggested by Google based on my location, as I walked in I noticed this is an Indian restaurant sure, fine we’ve all had Indian food before and I didn’t mind because I love Indian food. while sitting down, five other Indian guys walked in and they were immediately served. I sat there for 30 minutes and the server refuse to address me or even pay me any attention. It’s sad that this is still happening in 2024. People wanna be black or have black friends when is convenient for them, but refusing someone because of the color of their skin is horrendous. I get it. The owner has a right to refuse my service, but it has to be a justifiable cause not because of the color of my skin. The sad part is they all look darker than me.

The guys have always been on spot for the quality of food and consistency of the biriyani is amazing . Once they even refunded me for a order of goat briyani togo when I told them one order had mostly bones and barely any meat ! Always go for the chilli chicken dry and goes down well as appetizers with any drink on any occasion. Every time we drive over to DC and back we make the stop for Nattukodi biriyani on weekends.
