The best indian food in the area, taste wise, quality wise and price wise. Really wondering how they can maintain such a good quality at such an affordable price. Their layered Kerala parotta is the best in the state of Virginia. Also, to mention very tender goat and chicken in the different preparations. They serve food in disposable wares.

Total waist of time, they can’t prepare your order on time. They are very bad in taste too so does not worth waiting there for the food in the queue. They get order but never full fill one order at one time. They always mixup the order so badly.Total waist, never coming back and would not suggest this place for sure.

Updating my review after recent renovations. Love the food and the many options provided. Most importantly, it's authentically true to the flavors of South and the consistency in flavors has really stayed the same for past few years. Our favorites are chicken curry, parotta, idiappam, any biryani, goat roast, mango Lassi and the lunch/weekend brunch offerings are outstanding!

So this little secret place is hands down one of the best burgers and phillys I've had since I moved here 4 years ago. Convinced work to order and they loved it too. We will be ordering again!

I got chicken tika masala with rice and garlic naan. It was Flavorful, spicy, and chicken was not dry (I think most Indian places overcook chicken) and the curry had lots of onions and peppers in it. If I closed my eyes and ignored the fact I was eating it with plastic utensils, I would believe I was eating at any well known Indian spots like Lemon or Tulsi, which is good because it is not cheap! Seeing as this in basically in a gas station, I was hoping to find a "budget" Indian place, but the prices are just as high as a regular restaurant. But, seeing as the food for me did meet that standard, I can't complain!Parking: There is a gas station attached to parking lot.

A little confusing to eat at trying to find the Indian food menu and the American food menu, we were recommended the philly cheese steak told it was “best Philly cheese steak in Virginia “ and I for one am not big on them but dang was this an amazing Philly cheese steak ! Has me craving more !

I asked the manager if I could swap Bhindi Masala with what I actually ordered.. (Gobi Masala) He said, sorry.. you asked for Bhindi Masala, and that's what we made to order. I said I'm sure I said Gobi. He said absolutely not. I asked how would I ask for something I've never heard of. He said it was my mistake, and that's why he wouldn't switch it out.. I thought he was about to say "NO SOUP FOR YOU". Mercifully, Richmond has plenty of restaurant options. Bye..

Market cafe is my go to place for Indian food and Biryani is available almost any time. Recently, I have celebrated my daughter's birthday at Market Cafe and I am very glad to do that. They serve varieties of Indian dishes including chat items and pizzas. All the guests liked the food especially ulavacharu biryani. They have ample parking space and also space to setup bouncy house for kids to play.Overall, it is one stop place for all party needs - party hall, delicious indian food with pizza for kids, bouncy house accommodation and great for parking.
