Loved it! I'm a Carolina girl born and raised so when I tell you that this is the spot away from home! The brisket was amazing, the sauce top tier! Ask for burnt thank me later. Mac n cheese was delicious! Yall! They have corn pudding ( at least their version) but it was delicious 😋
We ordered Q Barbeque from the Glen Allen location for my daughter’s graduation party. This restaurant has the absolute nicest most helpful employees. The food was phenomenal. Everyone raved about how good it was and the price was so reasonable for the large amount we ordered. We barely had anything left everyone devoured it. Thanks Q barbeque!
D-licious. Almost as good as Old Dreamland in Tuscaloosa
We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of food here, the brisket and burnt ends melted in your mouth! Quick service too, would recommend!!
AMAZING smoked chicken! This place was quick, delicious and had great customer service.
In town yesterday and looking for a BBQ place to eat. For this place to have the accolades for food, it was disappointing. The brisket is the main meat I go to a BBQ establishment to eat. The brisket was dry as the sand in Kuwait on base. Wings could have used a bit more seasonings but overall weren't too bad. Ribs, they were pretty good. Little more smoke taste than I prefer, could have been seasoned a bit more but we're good. Sides baked beans and onion rings, nothing to write home about. Between myself and husband food + tip i spent $70 and it definitely was not worth it.
Came across this place due to a mapping error. I am absolutely glad that I did. Food is beyond great. Lemonade tastes homemade. I got the BBQ chicken with fries and hot pineapple. The pineapple was just great. Chicken was smoked nicely. My wife ordered baked beans and smoked sausage. Sausage was a crisp outside and juicy inside. She raved about the beans. Definitely recommend visiting. Wish we lived closer so I could come back myself.
Brisket was very dry, ribs were unbelievably smokey, would not reccomend. Had to drive to Chic Filet to get a milkshake to remove the smoky flavor from my mouth
Ribs were super smoky, do not recommend.
Delicious! Everything, including the sides was amazing and I love the burnt ends! I wanted to get dessert but I ran out of room.
Restaurantji Recommends
Ordered take out today ..ribs, chicken bbq and baked beans . ALL were very, very salty and ruined the meal .

If you’re in Virginia, you got to stop and get some great food (ribs, mac & cheese, collared greens, etc.) at Q Barbecue. It’s worth the side-trip and you’ll appreciate it afterwards.
based on reputation alone, we ordered a couple hundred dollars worth of brisket. super dry, no pull, no bend. you could not pick up a slice without it crumbling into a dry mess. the bark was acrid and bitter. house ground smoked sausage and key lime pie were good, credit where it's due, but i would never spend another dollar after trying their brisket. it wasn't just below expectation based on reputation, legitimately some of the worst i've ever had, anywhere.
