This was my fav restaurant and because of COVID I will never be able to bring my friends and family, I will never be able to enjoy the wonderful food they prepared! I’m so sad you had to permanently close! I am so angry this is reality

Good food. Friendly service. At least the hostess and waitress was friendly. Not so sure about the chef. He really didnt say anything. Either he was constipating really hard on his job ( I'm going by his facial expression) or he didnt know enough English to create full sentences. Other than that I liked the place

My whole family of 17 took me to eat here for my 65th birthday. The service was very good. The food was good & all the kids enjoyed watching them cook our food. I would definitely recommend this place. You got a lot of food for your money.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!! OVERCOOKED FOOD! SMALL PORTIONS! VERY RUDE STAFF ESPECIALLY MANAGER...... Manager was nonchalant when express that food was overcooked and still made me pay. This place needs to close up. I will never go there again. This place deserves 0 stars!!! Do not waste your gas driving here for an disappointment.

I've previously given Roda a favorable rating; I need to amend that. We recently went on a Saturday evening. They were busy but handling the crowd. Unfortunately, our cook was obviously new. He cooked things wrong, out of order, and generally was in over his head. I understand restaurants need to train new staff on customers, but .... Further, and not his fault, some of the chicken breasts had a tough, wooden texture. We've eaten lunch at Roda several times, though our meal was prepared in the kitchen. It's a good place ... usually.

Both times I went both were great i think I had the same guy cook my food which was awesome ?

I told the waitress "no shrimp with my meal please". The cook promptly cooked and placed 2 shrimp on my plate! Even after I told him NO! He would not remove the shrimp. No apology. Nothing. Ignored me.

The shrimp tempura roll is AMAZING! Their sushi is just a little big, but it is very tasty. Everytime I come here, the sushi is on point. Roda definitely will not disappoint.

This site is my number one place. Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to this restaurant. everytime I want to go to a good lunchon, this restaurant comes immediately to my mind. exeptionalgorgeous and diverse food and a rich cuisine.courteous team, and agreeable mood. Also important, the tariff is reasonable. I tell about this restaurant with no hesitation.

We love to go out. Yesterday we visited this superb restaurant which friends told us about. We spent a beautiful time there with delicious food and an efficient stuff and a professional cuisine. We added this venue in our phone list and we shall no doubt come back soon. We highly recommend.

The best Japanese food in Virginia if you are in the area definitely worth trying out you won't be disappointed

Great service, friendly am efficient plus I love the habachi meals...

Had dinner here and wasn't blown away. Read the other reviews and decided to give it a try. The chef looked bored as he presented the "Show". Service was good, and meal sizes were very large but rather bland. Not sure what was missing but just didn't have the Japanese hibachi flavor.

A little known treasure in this area. Excellent food and you can do the show or not and still great quality.
