This is, without a doubt, the best Italian sub in the city. Had a friend bring me one at work and I had to go out of my way to head in myself. The shop is clean as a whistle and the owner was kind. I will certainly be returning and recommending to anyone looking for an excellent sandwich.

Stopped in Friday afternoon, met the cook named Tony, and ordered two of the most fantiastic subs (Sandano's cheesesteak with mushrooms added and Saldano's Italian hoagie with hot peppers) I've had in years. I grew up in New Jersey and Philly and got spoiled on the best Italian food and subs and these guys are doing it right! Forget the other joints like Jersey Mike's, etc., this is The Spot.

Was recommended by a friend and this place did not disappoint! Had a Philly steak and fries combo! Portion size is great, had half of sub left over for dinner! Also liked that they make a cut in the plastic container of fries to keep them from getting soggy! Overall great experience luckily they were slow when I ordered so no long wait! Definitely recommend giving them a shot!
I didn't order anything as the employee at the counter asked me what order I was picking up. I said that I wasn't picking up and that I was looking at the menu.At this point, he mumbled something under his breath that was, to me, offensive and walked away. I decided that I wouldn't spend my hard-earned money at this place.I don't believe that you're having an issue with getting people to work there, I think they work there for a few days and get fed up with this guy's abusive nature.I don't care how good your subs are supposed to be if you don't treat people with respect, customers will prefer a place with better customer service over taste.
