Best WholeFoods in Richmond area!

Their fruit tarts and fresh squeeze orange juice are the bombs. I go there several times a month and that's what I get. Not only the food is good and fresh, but their staffs are friendly and courteous. I enjoy the atmosphere here and will be back. Thanks Whole Foods!

When I'm in Short Pump, I make a trip to Whole Foods. I am never disappointed and today was no different. This is not a store in which you expect to save/save/save! I know the prices are a little high, but I'm able to find things here that I can't find anywhere else. I interacted with staff several times and each of those times, I was assisted and then some. Great folks. I hope they get paid well! I wanted just a smidgen of blue cheese and at the cheese board, the gentleman was super helpful and cut a small piece even smaller for me. The butcher came out from behind the counter to show me where something was in the freezer (didn't expect that as he had just told me where it was). The store was buy, but not super busy, and everyone was working hard. I always want to spend a billion dollars in the fruit and vegetable section, but got away with only one bag. Whew. It all looked great. I sure wish we had a Whole Foods in my town. I'll be back next time I'm up that way.

Complete incompetence, lack of staffing at peak hours. Why have so many check out isles and Not staff them? It's Not customers first at this store, it's the almighty dollar that is most important

We got the beet, we got the beet, yeah! We got the beet! Go-go to Whole Foods for your superfoods! Non-paralleled in fresh, wholesome fruits and veggies. The produce department is colorful and beautifully designed. They stock the bananas (organic and fair trade) on upright racks to prevent bruising. I appreciate that they carry unusual produce as well, if you're looking for a particular fruit, vegetable, herb, spice, nut or seed - chances are they stock it! Today we went in for beet juice and beet powder. A helpful cashier showed us directly to the aisle and was über friendly and accommodating. He also showed us how we can save some greenbacks with our Amazon Prime app account. Just scan and save! Superb customer service! Most health conscious customers know about the natural, organic, locally sourced, and sustainable products Whole Foods is famous for. Gluten-free items are plentiful. The hot bar/salad/soup bar is chock full of amazing choices, but be careful because they charge by weight and it can add up! Truly, all of the departments are thoughtfully planned, executed and organized. True, you may pay more to shop here (most veteran WF shoppers expect to spend some coin), but the quality is worth it, and so is your health. I still go to Aldi's for paper goods and staples, but for essential oils, vitamins and supplements, WF sets the bar. My advice: Do your grocery shopping in the evening just before they close. You will find parking and check out in no time! Avoid the weekend afternoons, it can be a madhouse!

Super clean store with very friendly staff and great selections of merchandise. Pricing remains high despite Amazon Prime deals, but I suppose you don't go here expecting to keep to a budget.

In a saturated grocery marketplace Wholefoods stills reigns supreme because of their SERVICE!! Everytime I go to wholefoods I'm greeted by each employee I encounter and I leave with more than I came with both literally and figuratively. On my most recent trip to Whole foods we were on a quest to find Beef Bacon (it's really good btw and also hard to find) the butcher was so excited to help us and took pleasure in showing us his selection of bacon!! We were also really excited to receive a discount on our purchases using the Amazon prime app!!

PROS (and there are many): 1. The best hot and cold food bar/buffet in Richmond. Everything's fresh, nothing's to salty or spicy, new items introduced weekly 2. To die for tiramisu and tres leche cakes - these are my all time favorites. 3. The quality of loose tea they serve is outstanding. Will definitely satisfy every tea lover's taste. 4. Beers and wines served at the bar are mostly local and small batch - I like that. Broad variety too. 5. Freshly made sandwiches are delicious. My favorite is on the rye bread with a slice of rare roast of beef, olives, tomato and fresh greens - yam! CONS: 1. The place is a bit too crowded at times 2. Prices are slightly higher than in other grocery stores in the area.

**Oysters Review** $1.25, fresh, shucked on the spot oysters!! Ask for the cocktail sauce that comes with it for free and grab the pepper/hot/sauce and beer at the bar for a great meal!

I truly was worried when I heard Amazon bought Whole Foods . To my surprise this grocery store has not compromised their High quality standards. They host local, organic and non-GMO choices. Paleo-friendly, vegan, vegetarian and special diet options. Baked goods , salad bar , coffee , wine they seem to have something for everyone . But just so you know all this goodness comes with a price tag . I do find that certain things you can find else where are double the price here . I can always find certain items I need here at Whole Foods . Like Kudzu Beans . The store itself is always clean an organized well. The staff is knowledgeable as well as friendly . I enjoy coming to this market . Oh and if you are an Amazon Prime customer you get 10% off your total .

LOVE Whole Foods! This is not my local store but always make it a point to pop by for lunch if I happen to working in the area. Because I don't live in this area, I've only grabbed lunches from here. For me, the draw to any Whole Foods: the food bars! They have a hot food bar, soup bar, and 2 cold/salad bars. The hot bar varies by time of day (breakfast vs. lunch/dinner foods). Price is by weight. This is usually my sole purpose for coming, grabbing a quick tasty lunch. They always have an awesome spread and never disappoints!

This grocery store is a straight up rip off. I don't know how anyone can afford to buy weekly groceries here except for the very wealthy. Yes, they do carry a lot of specialty items like soaps make from exotic plants, etc. and organic foods, but the prices are just too expensive for your regular shopper.

I enjoy coming here to get fresh fruit, vegetables, nuts and sometimes a fresh slice of pizza or lunch at the hot bar. This place is my go-to and will always be a favorite.

Is it just me or is this Whole Foods smaller than most? Maybe it just seemed that way because it was packed with all the procrastinators who were just now buying their milk and bread for Winter Storm Gia. I was there to meet someone and decided to check out the store. Everything seemed really squeezed in. I did like the brew pub, lot's of local brew choices that looked interesting. They also had a nice salad bar with all the great healthy choices you would expect. They also had a very good mix of freshly prepared soups. Kale goodness, clam chowder, lobster bisque, crab & corn chowder and seafood creole. The wise shopper who reads my review will know that you want to park in the back of the store, on the street and walk in the backdoor...boom, beat the crowd! I'll be back!
