Great sushi! Great price! Went here two nights back to back it was that good! Recommend the spicy shrimp roll and shrimp tempura roll

I hate leaving a negative review but the experience I had was terrible. To start off, I placed a pickup order online and when I went to pick it (at 6:17 which is when the app told me to pick it up) they told me they just put my order in because the printer broke. I thought okay whatever I'll just wait in my car. 20 minutes later I get my order. So after 45 minutes of waiting I finally have my two very basic sushi rolls.

I am allergic to avocado and made sure to write on my order TWICE that I wanted no avocado on my California roll. This may be a strange request but that's why I made sure to write it twice, in all caps.
I get back to my house and realize they did put avocado on my roll despite my efforts. I threw away the California roll (because I can't eat it) and looked over to the next. $8 down the drain but whatever. As soon as I was about to pick up a piece of the tuna roll, I realize there is a hair in the sushi...
I tried eating a few pieces but was honestly just really disgusted and annoyed. The few pieces I did eat fell apart as soon as I picked them up and were rolled improperly.

2 disgusting rolls for $20 after waiting for 45 minutes = 2 stars. And that is me being generous. Save your money. Go to Publix next door for quicker and better sushi!!!

This always feels like you've been somewhere special. Tucked up in a strip-mall, the atmosphere and service are perfect for an intimate date, catching up with a friend, or special time with your child. The sushi tastes like sushi should, served at the right temperature with the right kind of sushi rice. The tempura is crisp and delicious. The bento boxes are a bounty of flavors. The staff is kind and gentle, and cares about their customers. This place is a treat!

Great food and incredibly friendly people!! Love this place!!

The food is surprisingly yummy and fresh considering this restaurant is in a strip mall. My salad was so fresh - cold crisp lettuce and my son loved his sushi. Our server was so friendly and kept our drinks full.

Lovely little sushi place with a friendly atmosphere. The sashimi dinner is fresh and delicious. Recommend the dream roll, Godzilla roll and the twin tower roll.

Everything tasted really fresh! Really enjoyed my first time here. Will definitely be back; Jojo is great! We knew her at her last restaurant and she's just as great here.

We absolutely love Tokyo Sushi. The food is amazing and the owners are so welcoming and kind.

Love love LOVE this little gem! I found Tokyo sushi when I started working in Crossridge. What first caught my eye was the price of the bento box, which was extremely reasonable given the amount of food you get. After my first time, I was hooked! Everything has always been fresh and made to order. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff treats you like family. I work in Short Pump now and still drive here whenever I can to grab lunch. 10/10 RECOMMEND!

Nice Place

Wonderful service. We’ve only eaten here twice and taken it to go but food was great! My son loved his salmon sashimi and my hibachi was great! We can’t wait to come back soon!

One of the best sushi places around. We can't speak highly enough of Tokyo Sushi here in Richmond. The owners and staff are always welcoming and nice, and even know us and our orders. This is our go-to sushi restaurant, and for good reason.

The sushi is delicious - much better than anything you could ever get from the store. Fresh and tasty! My kids like the hibachi - and it's equally as delicious.

Highly recommend the Cheese Crab appetizer - one of our favorites!
