Ordering food was awkward as there's a huge pillar which blocks the menu unless you're standing directly in front of the register
The tacos came out cold and the rice was bland. Frozen marg was good however
I'd eat here again if I was invited to something, but I don't plan on coming back

Some people love Torchy's we thought it ok. Full disclosure we're picky due to the amount of time we've lived in MX & the Southwest US but our stomachs were upset almost immediately and our stomachs were sick for 2 days after (Pepto Bismol to the rescue)!
Prices - high for what you get. Food - we thought the Shrimp tacos were flat out good. The Republican was decent. The meat on the Democrat was like garbage, truly awful. Nobody finished theirs, one bite each is all it got.
Salsa - hotter than usual, less flavorful than we expected, charged us extra, $12 extra for Salsa. I asked if the tacos came with salsa, was told they do not. That was incorrect, they come with salsa already on the taco, but nothing on the side. We ended up paying $12 for salsa we never ate. You do not need to purchase salsa unless you intend on having salsa & chips. The Guac is also extra and was bland, tasted unripe.
Food was served fairly quickly which we appreciated.
Staff kept bugging us by telling us they were shutting various fountain drinks down and later telling us they were closing soon.
Overall other than the price, upset stomachs for days afterwards and the Democrat tacos which were downright bad, it was fine.
I don't recommend, we wont be back.

First time here! Nice establishment with friendly staff. Food was underwhelming though. Lacked flavor to me. I tried trailer park tacos and queso. Chicken did not have any seasoning. Queso wasn’t that great to me , but there are many options here so maybe in the future I’ll Try something else.
After finding out that my girlfriend and fiancé of three years had been cheating on me with her Pilates instructor, I was at a loss. As I was taking my things from our (no longer) shared apartment, I decided to go to the nearby torchy’s tacos on a whim. This was probably the best decision I’ve made in the last two weeks. As I stepped into the store, the light ac blowing into my face gently dried the tears off my face like a tender tissue caressing my cheek. As I walked up to the counter, the cashier who I learned was named Jeffery didn’t bat an eye at my disheveled appearance, and instead treated me with kindness. He reccomended me the “Tipsy Chick”, which is exactly what I wanted (interpret that however you will), and took my order. Later as I sat at the table and ate my taco, I could feel the immaculate flavors of the meal remove thoughts of my evil ex girlfriend and rejuvenate my spirit. After my meal, I got up and left the restaurant ready to start a new life, determined and motivated. Thank you torchy’s tacos for helping me realize my self value and changing my life.
