Zara Mediterranean Charcoal Grill

The Zara Mediterranean restaurant provides a limited dining experience. The grilled chicken kebab pieces were unsatisfactory, exhibiting a lack of juiciness and being dry. The chicken’s pinkish hue indicated undercooking, which is unacceptable. When I expressed my dissatisfaction to the indifferent counter associate, I felt no inclination to return. The menu fails to substantiate the Mediterranean claim, and I would not recommend this establishment to anyone.

It's a hole in the wall restaurant in a strip mall. No atmosphere to speak of. The food presentation gives the impression of a few steps above fast food. They have hit the bulls eye! The food is delicious and plentiful. I got the felafel platter; enough for 2 meals. It wasn't the lunch special, so maybe the lunch portion is smaller. The desserts seem to be standard Sysco fare. It filled up quickly during lunch, so it's a popular place. I will definitely go back when I'm out that way.

Nice service and good food.

Great food, great service, polite and courteous staff, and very reasonable prices. Even if you’re going through Richmond, Is well worth making a stop here to eat.

Very friendly here, and the food was much better than I expected from "fast food". The kebabs were very good. The only thing I didn't think was great was the eggplant dip, I mistakenly thought it would be baba ghanouj, but it was still OK.

Staff is so friendly. The food is incredible. I had the chicken and steak kabobs with rice. You get a lot of food which I ended up taking to go.

We had combination platters, lamb and chicken. They were tender and delicious. Price was resonable. The place was really fantastic with iranian music playing
