We decided to give Sal’s a try after hearing new owners took over and gave this longtime Gloucester restaurant a much-needed overhaul. The difference is apparent as soon as one walks inside the dining room, which is now bright, airy and charming, and where customers pass a shiny Vespa scooter and spinning dessert case. I haven’t eaten here since the newer owners took over. It is fantastic. Everything is fresh, the restaurant is clean and the staff is so nice. Please give them a chance. You won’t regret it.
I ordered the Chicken Parm with angel hair noodles, got to the restaurant to pick it up and was told they only have spaghetti, it's crazy to me that an ITALIAN restaurant doesn't have angel hair or Alfredo or penne noodles.
