My wife and I were on a three day trip in Virginia, by the Chesapeake. As we were driving down the road, we smelled it. And we know through experience, when you can smell barbecue on the road. That's the place to go to. It was early evening, so there was only a couple of people there. I ordered brisket, collared greens, and onion rings. Loved being able to sit out on their wonderful stone patio area and enjoy the delicious BBQ. Pulled pork sandwich was delicious, the Mac and cheese was definitely cheesy and nicely heavy, kids loved the meat selections.
Loved the family feel to the restaurant- especially the owner and manager walking around and conversing with the customers. Food was quick, hot and good! I had the Scoot’s bbq combo- finished every bite.
