I sincerely feel bad about writing this review because this restaurant used to be our favorite place in Gloucester but it’s been severely neglected. After being self seated, it took roughly 20 minutes to be acknowledge and another 20 minutes for our drinks. After a little over an hour, our food arrived and looked edible at best. I ordered biscuits and gravy and two bites in, I looked back down at my plate and saw a full sized dead SPIDER buried under my gravy. I couldn’t eat anything else, returned my food, and still had to pay for our meal. I’ll never be returning to this restaurant again. I also want to add that the couple who were sat next to us were place in a dirty booth per the waitresses comments. The woman ordered an orange juice and received an improperly cleaned cup that had residue on it fromthe previous drink. I wish this establishment the best of luck. I think training on sanitation and customer service would help improve others experiences.

We stop by from time to time. It's probably one of the most reasonably priced restaurants in Gloucester. They have every comfort food you could want and always good. Nothing fancy but a fantastic family-friendly local staple.

This place was the perfect spot to stop and have lunch. The burger was phenomenal. The Club was very filling and tasted fresh. The waitresses were very nice and attentive. I like the decor, it’s different and a little dated but the tables remind me of the diners growing up.

Breakfast was amazing! Had two eggs your way with sausage links and fried apples. We have our own chickens so it's hard to eat breakfast out but our breakfast had a lot of flavor. We Definitely would come back. Husband had eggs Benedict and said it was awesome.

We had a light lunch today.The food was good. Definitely a local favorite. The service staff were very friendly and helpful.
This is one of 3 of our favorite places to eat breakfast. And I was very disappointed this last time we went. I ordered eggs extra well done they weren’t as well done as I wanted but that’s OK I eat them but I ordered a blueberry pancake and asked to make sure that the blueberries are in the batter as well as on top.I was glad my husband had blueberries inside his pancake and on top, and he was very happy since it was Father’s DayBut there were no blueberries in my pancake, which really disappointed me because that’s the only reason why I would eat pancakes, and these blueberries you put in them are delicious I told our waiter that there were no blueberries in my pancake!He said he would have to go back and yell at them. I assumed maybe he would bring me a pancake with blueberries in it, but he never did and I didn’t eat my pancake! We will come back because we really like this place but I think next time I’m going to have to specify what i want! I ended up leaving a full pancake, except for one little corner eaten behind

This is a family setting, welcoming, relaxed restaurant! The food is excellent, especially the pancakes! We travel from Hampton to the Court House just for the Pancakes!! My granddaughter doesn't want to go anywhere else. Blessings to the staff and owners. Thanks
