Virginia Foothills Distillery Co. offers a beautiful space, friendly service and a great coctail list.
While the bourbon selection is limited to just two, the cocktail menu more than makes up for it with creative and well-crafted options. I loved the MacGregor Old Fashioned—perfectly balanced - in the top 5 of old fashioneds I've had!
Huge bar area, couches and a stunning fireplace, and tables. Outdoor seating as well.

Adjacent to the Exchange Cafe, and you can bring you food from there over.
Shout out to Shelia who helped us behind the bar. She was super friendly and took the time to share her knowledge of the bourbons and cocktails with us.
We will definately be back and I cant wait to see how they grow!

*MacGregor Old-Fashioned: 1.50z Single Barrell Luxardo cherry syrup,orange and aromatic bitters
*Preacher's Coffee: 1.5oz Small Batch coffee brown sugar simple, whipped cream. *hot or iced avalilable

This is some of the smoothest whiskey I have ever had the pleasure of tasting. It is also an incredible venue.

An absolute must stop if you are in the area. Beautiful indoor and outdoor seating. Staff were very friendly and the bourbon was top shelf. My husband enjoyed the tastings and I had a hot toddy that I will be dreaming about for months. I love wine but if you need a change up from all the wineries this is the place to be.

Great Bourbon and Great Atmosphere!

This is perhaps the best Bourbon at this price point that I’ve ever had. The distillery is beautiful/comfortable, it’s veteran owned/operated, the mixed drinks are fantastic, and the staff are awesome! Will definitely make this a regular stop during my travels!

This is a don’t miss distillery! If you love bourbon, this won’t disappoint!!! The owners are military and their wives are so hospitable! They have created a bourbon that truly tastes perfect! A story of how they derived the name of the bourbon and of the blind preacher, seals the deal! I can’t recommend this as a stop enough, if you are visiting Virginia! ?. Oh and the old fashioned is a must!? (it is perfection)
