We very much enjoyed our long weekend at the winery. We stayed at the Pinot Grigio cottage and eat at the Palladio restaurant and the Library. The staff were very attentive, the service was great, and food and wine were delicious. The grounds are very picturesque with the views of the Appalachian mountains in the distance. Our first visit to Palladio Restaurant at Barboursville Vineyards was an unforgettable experience. The food was delicious and incredibly fresh. I had the bison sirloin, which was tender, juicy, and perfectly prepared. The homemade bread was outstanding — we couldn't get enough of it. This lunch gave us a wonderful taste of what we'll experience on our upcoming trip to Italy.
Highly recommended!!! A must visit!

Palladio Restaurant offers a pleasant ambiance and nice service, although occasionally delayed. The food is very good, with standout dishes like Halibut, soft shell crab, Wagyu carpaccio, and lemon Gnocchi. The wine list is excellent, with suggested pairings for each course. The restaurant's quaint, stylish interior transports diners to an Italian countryside setting, creating a beautiful Italian atmosphere that makes guests feel like they are in an Italian province. The presentation of the food is of the highest quality and elegance, complemented by a wide variety of wines from a stunning vineyard.
Guests have enjoyed the food and drinks, and the service is often praised as incredible. The chef's skills are described as superb. Many visitors, including those returning year after year, find Palladio to be a place where they can enjoy a memorable and enjoyable dining experience. The staff is incredibly attentive and make guests feel special, no matter the occasion. The overall experience is truly exceptional, with fabulous natural beauty, excellent wine tasting, and a perfect day for all.
