I can only say wonderful things about Palladio. The food was amazing, the service was exquisite, the ambiance was lovely. This is not an inexpensive meal but for a wonderful special occasion it was a fantastic choice. I would not change a thing and the then after our lunch we very much enjoyed the deck to enjoy a bottle of one of the wines offered as a pairing to the meal. A walk to the ruins and back and some lovely photo locations on property made for a very special birthday...
As newcomers to Virginia, my husband and I have been enjoying the many restaurants the Charlottesville region has to offer. We appreciate good food and great service, whether it comes from an all-night diner or a Michelin-starred restaurant, and we were really looking forward to dining at Palladio. Boy, were we disappointed.
We arrived at 6:25 for a 6:30 reservation, and the door was locked. They don’t open until 6:30 and it was no hardship to stand outside...

This is a reservations required kind of place for a reason. Not because it was crazy busy, but because you need that for the level of attention to detail that was in evidence.
