The noise was the issue There was a table close to our table — six ladies who drank too much.. I asked them if they could be a little quieter — on shouted back —NO! Two bottles of champagne later thank goodness we were leaving.. Glad I was not driving when they left.. This is not your fault.. First time in the Brassiere— very lovely place. So I presume this is 50 years for the Brassiere!! Congratulations Lynn Rhomberg
Approachable “fine” dining in a comfortable setting. We loved everything we had - the wine, the specialty appetizers (lobster cocktail and beef cheeks), traditional main courses, and soufflé (the raspberry one was my favorite!) The service is wonderful. This was a memorable experience. Thank you for making it so!
Every time over close to 50 years that I have dined at both Chez Francois and Jacques's Brasserie has been superb in every way. I think it remains THE BEST metro DC restaurant.
