L'Auberge Chez Francois offers a wonderful dining experience with exceptional dishes like bouillabaisse and salmon appetizer. The restaurant is known for its great French food, which includes favorites like escargots, tomato salad, lobster salad, duck, and veal scallopini. Guests enjoy flavorful meals and attentive service, with many noting the warmth of the greeting and the professionalism of the staff. The ambiance is lovely, providing a quiet setting ideal for enjoyable conversations, where tables are spaced apart enough for privacy. Dining under La Grande Tente with a beautiful meadow and gardens as a backdrop is a special experience. Popular appetizers like the mushroom crepe and golden beet are highly praised, and the tomato salad from the garden is wonderful. For entrees, twin tenderloins are always excellent, and trout almandine offers a rich mix of flavors, with tender fish and a tasty sauce. Guests have enjoyed dishes such as Ris de Veau, Lobster Martini, raspberry soufflé, and plum tart. Desserts like the peche melba and cheesecake add to the memorable evening. Despite minor issues like an overcooked lamb dish and a garlicy crouton, the overall experience remains lovely. Many guests celebrate special occasions here, with some enjoying their visits for over 30 years and never having a bad experience. With a beautiful setting and excellent service, L'Auberge Chez Francois absolutely never disappoints and remains a highly recommended place for a special meal.
