Not family friendly! No kids allowed ! It’s the most empty winery we’ve been to today! A total of 4 people there. If you're pregnant they will let you in but if the baby is here forget it! Chiswell Farm & Winery offers stunning views, a charming cottage, and delicious wines such as the Sparkling Chardonnay and Sweet Albermarle Petit Manseng. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful estate with seating that allows them to appreciate the Blue Ridge Mountains. The staff is helpful in choosing wines, making guests feel welcome and valued. Guests can have a picnic outdoors or relax in cozy indoor spaces, including individual rooms with their own bathrooms, perfect for gatherings. This winery is known for providing a "grown up" experience, as it is 21+ and not dog-friendly, which many find makes their visit even more enjoyable. Chiswell is considered a hidden gem on the Monticello Wine Trail, with gorgeous grounds and an adorable building that reminds some guests of home. Each month, the tasting room manager creates a special drink featuring locally grown produce, showcasing the care and effort put into every offering. Visitors can unwind in relaxing lawn chairs, chat in cozy corners, and enjoy the remarkable combination of wine and views. The welcoming and knowledgeable staff, especially Kephany, make every visit memorable, ensuring a superb experience for all.
