We've supported this winery since inception, and their wine continues to get better and better, beautiful venue, great staff (who have been there for years) and thoughtful owners who work both the tastings and the room. Bordeaux-like red blends, their Viognier is one of the best in Virginia (theirs and UpperShirley's are our favorites and Sep's 2022 is fantastic!) Join the wine-club and go upstairs, scenic vistas, dog-friendly, picnic-friendly, no kids!
One of our absolute favorites anywhere . All the wines are very good. Sarah and Todd, the owners, are very engaging and super friendly and helpful. Staff is excellent, well informed and very very helpful. Setting and buildings are beautiful, relaxing vibe, and inviting. Everything about this place is positive and you can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend. Great place for wine club members too! Darn near perfect!

We came here for a outing where my friend got engaged and got our own private area where staff was excellent and we were able to escape the heat. Views are pretty but also it feels very private and homey here which is nice. We tried every single wine including the port- we were bigger fans of the red for sure but the rose was great. The cheese sticks and popcorn they offered were nice but we brought our own food in.
