Great place!! Food is really good. New staff are doing a great job recovering restaurant from a bump in the road. Worth trying again if you haven’t visited recently!
Kid-friendliness: Great place to dine with your children and even fur babies are welcome on outside deck
Great atmosphere right at a marina and nice campground. The food was all amazing! The crabcakes were the best I've had and they also had all you can eat blue crab as well as many other seafood options. Kids menu also has simple stuff like hot dogs and grilled cheese for the kiddos that don't want seafood.
I ordered the broiled platter and they were out of scallops. They refused to substitute and said they would omit the scallops and not reduce the price. Then the Mgr came and raised her voice to me!
Beautiful location right on the beach. But the food was awful. We both ordered prime rib sandwiches. Sounded good. Must have been cooked 6 months ago, frozen and defrosted. Dry as shoe leather. They tried to compensate by drowning it in cheese...NOT listed as one of the sandwich items.the stale bread was toasted and there was a small cup of yellow potatoes salad...with the potatoes skins still on, and some super sharp ginger.. apparently to clear away the bad taste and provide flavor. Will NOT order that again. Perhaps the seafood & hamburgers would be a better choice. Unless the seafood is kept around for 6 months too.Bathrooms absolutely need remodeling, and a good cleaning wouldn't hurt.
My family shared a meal at this place on July 7th. My son ordered tacos and asked to add an extra taco. Total of 3 tacos. When the order arrived there were 3 meals, the lady explained that they don’t do extra tacos. Kinda taken back my wife said “ he only ordered one meal with an extra taco”. The attitude displayed by the waitress and management was “tough break”. Not sure how the waitress logically went from 3 tacos to 6. If this is the policy, should have been stated at the time of ordering. Waitress had already informed the table she was new. Horrible management, horrible training and horrible attitude displayed by entire staff my family encountered. I asked my wife why didn’t she ask for a credit, she said “why ask for a credit when the management acts like they did and we won’t be back anyway”. Clearly a great point, Wr have spent a lot of money supporting any restaurant that lands at Coles Point, but this ends today. Until new management or new ownership comes in, not another dime. 250+ reviews and at a 3.9 rating, this place clearly has bigger issues to deal with. Good luck.
Had a nice trip. The food makes me return so many times that I could live there, and the atmosphere and service are beyond what anyone would want anywhere when eating!. I loved it!!!.
This place has an amazing view and good boat parking. The food is acceptable but the service is not that good. We asked to split the bill and the waitress messed everything up. The waitress was so lost, missed the order, and took forever to bring the drinks and food.
It was nice, For fishing the Potomac River is a nice place and big. They have Camping, you can rent small houses, Restaurant, Pool, and more...
Everyone as so friendly and did their best to make our experience memorable and can’t wait to come back
Kid-friendliness: Outdoor atmosphere with a Bach next door
Parking: Ample
Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access
Dietary restrictions: They tried hard to deliver a custom meal for my mother
Went there to launch our pontoon. The ramp is well kept. Just be careful because the ramp has a drop-off. We had to wait on one of our visits for the tide to come in before loading the pontoon. Other than that all was great. Friendly folks in the store behind the restaurant.

This makes the second weekend visit in a row where our food was horrible. The crab cakes which was in the past very good are now below average. The rest of the food served to our party of 6 was very poor at best. The pulled pork, and the sirloin sandwich made us sick. The staff (Will & Tascha) are very nice although Tascha confused and co mingled our 3 tabs and it took 15 minutes or more for her to get it correct. When we spend $180.00 in boat gas just to travel to this restaurant we expect not to get sick on the food we eat.
Always enjoy dinning at any of the Tim's restaurants. The food at Coles Point Tim's is by far the best. My compliments to the Chef. They also have a Sunday morning breakfast that was excellent. The kids really enjoyed the chocolate chip pancakes.
Phenomenal view from the outdoor seating area and perfect weather to be having breakfast outside. The seafood omelet was absolutely delicious. Zach provided excellent service. And be sure to ask about the story of their shade grown coffee.
Saturday night was my first time at this location. Food was perfect. The bartender made me the absolute best rum runner I've ever has. Its the off season but the staff that was there were all extremely friendly. Beautiful views of the Potomac.
One star for a good drink. Bartender friendly enough but very slow. We ordered spiced shrimp and French fries. Shrimp was over cooked and we never got FF. Bartender would not take FF off the bill. Haven't been here for 2 years. Didn't miss a thing.
